C&C: ShockWave is an enhancement mod for C&C Generals: Zero Hour. The main goal of this mod is to make Zero Hour a more interesting game with more diversity between the generals, making you think twice before you select a certain general, and overall provide more choices, diversity, and strategic freedom than in Zero Hour - while keeping the spirit and design direction of the original Generals game and storyline.

Kind of annoying have to build this right at the start of every game, but atleast with multiples you get alot of spy satelite abilities

Perhaps it could also function as a tourist attraction and bring in a small stream of cash =D

It looks like the Epcot ball.

why is ironside the only guy in shock wave that requires a radar dome while all the other u.s. factions have radars at the command centers?

The design looks great , the radar dome also makes the base look stylish. My guess to why they made only Irionside need it is his more traditional view of war using heavy armor, and didnt care to update it internally in his comm center :p (no idea hehe)

or perhaps it's simply a non-satellite-based system, given that sats have a few-second transmission delay that could be fatal for tank commanders.

or it could be because it's cool-looking. and for game-balance, some of Ironside's stuff can go toe-to-toe with Chinese tank battalions in even numbers (ie 10 units vs 10 units) an WIN, so the extra cost for him makes some sense.

Radar dome, dont worry. It is all a civilian building. Then why, does it have ammunition crates stacked up there? Errr... oh look over there, a GLA attack squad! Huh? Whe... SPLAT! Aggggg!!!
