That thing on the back is actually a hovering vehicle that takes off when enemies are nearby and drops on top of them to crush them to pieces.
O.o to me....that looks like a crap-ton of missile launchers....i think? If so, damn.
It looks more like a point defense system rather than a massive missle installation. It looks like it carriers missles, but defensive ones.
Well to me it looks like grenade launchers...

maybe it doesn't use missiles at all...
