This mod is for all the players frustrated with the cartoony nature of Zero Hour units and buildings. We intend to replace every fanciful unit in Zero Hour with its closest possible real world equivalent, without changing the unit's capabilities.

sorry, but that's U.S.A.'s B-52's saying, not some cheap ripoff bomber with a "Made in China" sticker in the cockpit

Great model and texture.

This looks to either be the Xian H-6A or the H-6E. However it lacks the dome under the H-6E so it likely is the H-6A. However since it will be doing both a conventional and nuclear role then perhaps it should be modified as the Xian H-6E.

If you would like to find out more about the Serial # and PLA Air Force ORBAT then you can look here:

Scramble.nl

The current one depicted is for the 8th Bomber Division 23rd Regiment. However it seems the H-6A is not operated with the 8th Bomber Division as the H-6K is the current production variant:

Agree the H-6K is more likely to appear in a War that happened around 2020.

I agree as well. The 24th Air Regiment began to receive the H-6K from Mid-2012 and by 2020 we can expect that the H-6K will replace or supplement other Xian H-6 variants (with the exception of nuclear/conventional bombers).

It's got the dome, you just can't see it.

To make this bad boy a H-6K is not too hard, the biggest difference between this guy and a "Hotel-Six-Kilo Badger-Zulu" (in another words, H-6K Badger-Z, "Z" for ultimate model)is that the H-6K have a solid nose while the earlier badgers are all sporting classic glass nose.

There is also various communication arrays, the removal of the blister on the fuselage near the tail , two sets of domes (bottom and top) and also various other equipment. Another main physical difference is the addition of 3 pylons for each wing to carry a total of 6 ALCM.

Yes, but these are minor details that most people are going to ignore anyway. Besides, the "Kilo" are more likely to be the only Badgers that are still around in 2020's, because the rest of China's Badger fleet are close to the end of their service life.

There is also the matter of the Engine used. Since it is imported from Russia the engine for the H-6K also had to be enlarged. It uses the D-30KP turbofan engines of 12,000 kg thrust replacing the original Chinese turbojets on earlier Xian H-6 variants.

Also the Xian H-6 does not have the Callsign assigned by NATO. In the case of the Tu-16 it was the 'Badger' since bombers were assigned a B letter.

I know, but the "Badger-Zulu" is just for fun ;)
Models of either the "place-holder" DK-30P or the its replacement, the WS-18, are not too hard to make. Besides, this model is a low-poly one anyway, the change of skin and adding some pylons will do it well.

Just curious, what will be the replacement of the EMP bomber and cargo plane?
In my opinion, the Il-76MD is the best replacement for it. Naturally, in 2020 the Y-20 will become the standard heavy transport, but since its prototype is not revealed like J-20/31, there is no way to know how it looks like. The Il-76MD have cargo capacity of roughly 50 tonnes, enough to lift a 40-45 tonnes level ZTZ-96A "battlemaster" tank, although in real life the size of the 96 is larger than T-72/90, which made it impossible. India used to modify Il-76 to load T-72 so one T-72/90 is likely to be the limit of IL-76's capacity. With Il-76, General Kwai can have a cargo plane that can actually deliver tanks.
It is also good to have a Y-8/Y-9 to drop that EMP bomb since this bomb is likely to be in "Daisy Cutter" size, and they need a cheap transport to deliver it.

The EMP bomber will probably be the same Xian H-6, the cargo plane will indeed have to be something else I.imgur.com perhaps

I would agree with the Il-76MD since it is capable of carrying a heavier payload than the Y-8 or the Y-9. Here is the ranking in terms of payload/capacity/cargo load:

1. Y-20
2. Il-76MD
3. Y-9
4. Y-8C

Here is a picture of a Y-20 Model:

The Y-8 and the Il-76MD are suggested as possible replacements for the current cargo plane already.
