Humm...would prefer the BTR-152K personally. Nevertheless nice model and skin. excellent work.

Yeah having two BTR-152s (one as quad the other as battle bus) wouldn't be confusing at all xD come on!

Well, there was huge flame war of Turret vs No Turret, and I guess this is DoctorHereDoctor's solution... new model.
No. To put it as rudely as possible, I didn't give a **** about that turret and it was kind of annoying how much whining there was about it.
The only problem with the old model was that I made it a really long time ago and the quality could be improved. Just took the opportunity to find a "cooler" vehicle that was also more distinct from the troop crawler (which will still have a turret!!).
I was afraid of that....
BTR-40 has no firing ports. It also does not have a roof. I'm with RKraptor here, I think the BTR-152 would have been better.

The BTR-40A variant doesn't have firing ports but the BTR-40B closed-topped variant does.
The BTR-152K would be a good salvage upgrade as a suggestion however and then possibly the BTR-60PB as the Third Level salvage upgrade.

I was talking about the real one, but I was wrong.
This is better than the previous one, as it is actually more like a bus, whereas the other one was like a ASV/IFV.
So BTR-60 is dumped?

As will be the current Toxin truck, Scud, rocket buggy, and scorpion tank (for GLA); listening post, nuke cannon, flame tank and troop crawler (for China).

It would make sense to make it perhaps the Third salvage upgrade for the BTR-40B. Thereby the salvage upgrades would follow this path:
1. BTR-40B
2. BTR-152K
3. BTR-60PB

What do you think of "Fahd" apc to repleace battlebus? There are versions without turret.
Why would you ask? I just finished the battlebus, its up there by the top of this page. Why would I just immediately throw this out and start over :(((
It's a well done model, no doubt about that, I like that model, but it doesn't look like a suitable replacement for the battlebus. Because it only has 4. fireports, and why do GLA have to use a very old tech? The "Fahd" APC is being use since 1986. It's made by Egypt. It has 8.firing ports. And "Fahd" looks better then old BTR-40.
If GLA can have T-72, Scud missiles, mobile radar system, then why can't they have a little newer battlebus? I still like your old BMP model for battlebus.
They aren't getting a scud. Their mobile radar system is from 1974. In case you didn't get the memo our RL GLA is similar to insurgent movements within middle eastern countries that combat local dictatorships. Shoddy soviet export tech. Lots of it. No modern crap. Better if used in many places than just one. There really isn't much point questioning our selection process at this point I'm afraid.

Gotta say I'm having a good time seeing everyone regretting the loss of the last battlebus when it was so hated right after I made it.
