Basically this mod will just adjust the units and gameplay of FoC to make it more canon to Star Wars lore. At the moment it will only be space. This means all ships will be rescaled and the amounts and types of weapons will be increased in order to try and bring them to spec. This is not meant to balance the game, but to make it more "realistic". There will be no fancy new ships or stunning new graphics (yet), just a difference in gameplay that will hopefully mimic the style and action of the films.
Which skin for the new Venator? The more glib Republic colors, or the slate-gray of the more modern ships? Leave your opinion as to which you think is better and why. Bear in mind that the only sides that will be using this ship will be the Rebels and the Hutts.

This one because after the fall of the Jedi the empire reclored the venators like this as you can see in episode three, so the red colored ones would be rare
Historically, no Venators ever came in rebel hands. I think you should give the grey Venator to the Empire and a Republic Venator with yellow colouring instead of red and Hutt symbols instead of the Open Circles to the Hutts.
dude, read the books and use some reasoning, if the rebels are able to capture corvettes, nebublan-b frigats (my spelling sucks i know) and even both Victory and Imperial Class star destroyers, it stands to reason that they would be able to capture Venator class cruisers.
Because Venators came out of Imperial service long before the start of the galactic civil war. During the war, Venators were available for sale for too high a price for any rebel-in-hiding to buy or any rebel sympathiser to donate without raising suspitions. As for the capture of Venators, most operational Venators were in private fleets. Also, there is the problem of scale: the rebels simply didn't have the means to support a fleet of Venators.
BTW most, if not all, of the captured Imperials and Victorys were captured during and after the Battle of Endor when the Empire was falling apart and the New Republic was being formed.
