Ghorst is a character that was only introduced in an 8th Edition supplement called Sigmar's Blood. There's hundreds of characters that have appeared once or twice in a book or scenario that are just as (un)important. The main focus is on characters that have been in Armybooks or have a really massive impact on lore.
Vlad, Isabella, Konrad, Neferata, Walach Harkon, Luthor Harkon, The Red Duke, Abhorash, Drachenfels, Dieter Hellsnicht, Melkhior/W'Soran/Zacharias the Everliving, Ushoran, Heinrich Kemmler, Gashnag, Vorag, Mallobaude... Vampire Counts have loads of characters to include before Helman Ghorst.

Krell was already in COW, like Mannfred, so didn't mention them. Krell is getting improvements in next release.

Huh...I never saw him back when I played 1.5.1...must've gotten killed off by the empire

To get Krell you had to take Brass Keep as Vampire Counts, which wasn't exactly easy. He had his own video and brought all those Undead Chaos forces that made up half the VC roster.

Abhorash? One can only dream of having the honour of beholding the greatest warrior. The game though couldn't do justice to his capabilities.

only few of them will be avaiable in custom battle but all heroes will be avaiable in campaign, plus some in possible historical battle

There will never be a good way to put heroes in multiplayer in the Medieval 2 engine.
