Description
Some of you will wonder what the big deal is, you've seen these guys before, they're not a new unit. Some of you might notice something different, something never possible before. Some of you might be very excited for what this could mean for an entire class of unit in the game's balance system. Some of you may find units worth taking and fulfilling their tabletop accurate roles better. Some of you may die, but that's a sacrifice I'm willing to make.
Spearwall instead of shieldwall right? If this is so, it's great!

Yup, one handed spears in spearwall, so they rank up and stab. HE Spearmen actually look better, but I forgot to take a pic while testing. Still tweaking, WIP.
I'll pull a three hundred next time there is a chaos invasion. Just gotta find a good pass on the map. :)

will we see phalanx formations as well? i can't recall if the current pike units have that at all.
They do. It's nammed pikewall ingame.
can you recall the length of the pikes? 3, 4 or 5 man layers of lowered pikes?
Actually it's 2 lowered the rest is up in the air.
well, then i would request some more extreme phalanx formations to have a solid deadly block as an option.
i recall high elf spearmen being able to fight with 3 lines due to the length and training with their spears when receiving a charge.
actual pike units should be able to do better than that. handmaidens f the everqueen in the sundering had a standard 3 rank spear formation laid down to the front and it was beautiful and deadly.
