A view of the ported B2F Browning Automatic Rifle model and the difference to the vanilla one.

Posted by on

So today, a quick weapons update.

We'll be looking at our new Browning Automatic Rifle model; ported from the Back2Fronts mod with permission from Mch2207cZ.

As you can see, the model is more accurate to the WW1 timeframe the mod is set in. Below you can also see the comparison between the vanilla and the modded firing rates. The original M1918 BAR fired at around 500 rounds per minute compared to the WW2 era M1918A2 BAR which could be fired at around 650 RPM.

Given that it's an American made weapon, it stands to reason that the BAR will naturally be used only in 1918 maps which feature the American Expeditionary Force.
