Game runs with LZdoom.Weapons are nice,a lot of variation.But companions are overpowered.just one of them clear out a room in 3 seconds,i dont even get to shoot LOL.and all of them fight same way.shooting enemies.And they are all invincible.It would be great if you nerfed this companions and give each of them unique support abilities.
Best mod, first doom mod, I use it in every platform I can. One of the few games that scared me as a kid, now I turn it into an over the top action-comedy. A literal gamechanger. More hours spent in COD Doom than in vanilla doom by now. Picture it, call of duty gameplay, but without typical annoying breaks in that gameplay. You can run custom wads with only zombies, turning into a 60 hour long COD grind of just the action. Made the account for this mod. Its damn perfect. No other mod enhances og doom as much as this one.

This is a great mod if you're tired of Brutal Doom. And **** the hardcore BD fans.
So, I've been playing this mod for a while, since back when it was in the Beta 0.5 Update 2.1 version. I will say that I preferred the ammo counts from back then, even if they were honestly a bit much.
However, I have chosen to rate this mod higher now than I did then because of the addition of new weapons that add greatly to the mod. There are some additions I'd like to see, like a handful of additional weapons; but overall, this is an excellent mod for people that want a somewhat more "modern" feel to their classic Doom gameplay.
The animations and sounds are excellent, really bringing the feel of Call of Duty to Doom. And I have to commend the mod's developer Arrowood for choosing to have medical kits that the player has to use to heal themself up rather than the automatic regeneration that has been a Call of Duty staple since CoD2.
The only issue is the sheer size of the mod file and how it can take up quite a bit of system performance. This is likely due to the fact that even its "Vanilla" versions are still heavily based in Brutal Doom, a mod that's widely known to be severely bloated. As such, this is a mod that pretty much requires a fairly high-end gaming desktop if you want to play it.
Hard work was put into this, and it paid off for an amazing weapon mod.
