Call of Chernobyl is a free-play sandbox mod for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. : Call of Pripyat created by TeamEPIC. It features 32 explorable maps, reworked level design and level fixes, new original level, Trucks Cemetery, Full AI and A-Life overhaul, engine and script enhancements, Repeatable task system which bases itself on A-Life events, Customizable weather environments for every map as well as surges and psi-storms from AF3, Character creation which includes name, portrait and faction selection; Several optional modes such as Ironman mode, story mode and zombie survival mode, New achievements, rankings and reputation system, PDA leaderboard and enhanced PDA statistics, Companion system with keyboard issued commands, many optional side-features and community-made addons . Call of Chernobyl was player's choice Mod of the Year 9th place in 2015 and 1st place in 2016!
An original map by Borovos. Vehicle Graveyard is inspired by a real location and many creative liberties were taken. It has 14,001,674 faces and 5956991 vertices. A lot of work still needs to be done (adding A-life, smart terrains, paths, etc) but as you can see it has successfully compiled and is very playable.
This level is for Call of Chernobyl, a Call of Pripyat freeplay mod/map-pack by Bangalore, Borovos and Alundaio with support from the Epic STALKER community.

I worked alone and it needed a lot of time. Create a very high poly count level was not easy.
So, i don't know. But if i can do others ones, why not in a second release.

Yes, it's running perfectly in DX10/11 render. It was caused by too much invalid faces. So, fixed xrlc isn't the solution. A good level without problem need a good geometry.
I corrected all bad models.
Nice, glad to hear that. I can't wait to see what the guys are going to do with this level. Maybe put a lot of anomalies in it and hidden treasure or whatnot :)

This is my vision for this level:
"For me, this is not a living place. It's a garbage and i added a lot of radioactive zone. It's hostile area, not a safe place.
So, i didn't want to see a lot of campfire with npc stay or walk here. Now, i only added three campfire around the graveyard. Maybe we'll add another one.
I added a first anomaly field. I plan to add one or two others.
As i did it first for me and next for CoC mod, it is as other levels in a freeplay game.
If someone use CoC as a map pack sandbox with full alife to create a new mod, it could be a good place for quests. It's a good for ambush, to add stashes, or "sniper job" for player as i added watchtower.
As the decor is very close, the player could be easily surprised by mutants or enemies."
So, it's a good idea, i like it but no camp near helicopters.
There is a safe place at the graveyard entrance.

No rework levels from builds, no storyline, no new render (shader, textures...)
The mind of CoC is really a map pack with various and dynamic alife. It's the Zone without restriction.
If you want to compare it with Soc's mods, It could be like FreePlayStart mod + Kostyan map pack + iwers unlife mod + AI mods, it's example ofc.
And about quality and stability, CoC is in the spirit of OGSE mod. We want to offer a free bugs mod, not a unstable work like LA.
Honestlyy i dont mind that there is no render or storyline. Cop itself on maxed out details is beatiful without anything added. Also i dont need story at all with a free play mod like this that adds so many locations and contains full a-life RPing will be like a wonder. Also i want to thank you for all your hard job.
Borovos, nice work. This is a really cool map and, to be honest, I find this really inspiring. It makes me want to take the time to learn the LE for SoC the way you have for CoP.
