Hello All,

thales made an inquiry earlier today about a video that I saw that featured a mutated bear, and thus I'm deciding to create this thread.

If this sounds familiar, it's because thales and I had an earlier thread on this topic, which is now locked, thus the creation of this new thread.

Here's a fully mutated bear, covered in tumors, in a video from a STALKER mod.

Here are more Possible Mutants for STALKER Mods:

This video is FULL of SOLID possibilities...
WOW!!!

Looking through the list of videos, these mutants would fit in REALLY well as ADDITIONS TO the game (they would NOT be REPLACEMENTS of default mutants)...

For a GROUP of zombies, MIX these up into ONE group so that there's visual variety and thus deepen the sense of immersion for the players:

For a PACK of dogs, MIX these up into ONE GROUP:

Use this as its OWN species, based on the BOAR animations and behaviors:

Use this as its OWN species, based on the TUSHENKO animations and behaviors (they'd be as tough as powerful dogs):

Here's an AGED Bloodsucker, it has lost its environmental pigmentation, but still has all of its powers:

As an ELDERLY Bloodsucker, one that NO LONGER is able to turn invisible, use these:

Perhaps they move a little slower, and hang out in larger groups so that they improve their odds of getting kills?

Use these to add VARIETY to the appearance of Controllers (after all, why should they all look the same?):

Ohhhh thales!

If this was Valentine's Day, you would've won my heart!

lol

DUDE!

You are THE MAN!

Finally!

A mutant bear that's beyond all doubts an actual mutant!

Thank you! Thank you!

THANK YOU!

Now, I know that what I'm about to ask might sound "greedy," but like anyone who gets a great Valentine's Day card on Valentine's Day, the day isn't "perfect" till a BOX of MIXED chocolates is delivered as well... And you missed Valentine's Day by SIX WHOLE DAYS!

*taps toes, waits impatiently for a proper response*

*huffs in frustration as the reader is totally missing the GENIUS allegorical reference, thus...*

*coughs humbly*

Hey thales, do you, uh, do you have ANY OTHER PLANS with adding OTHER mutants to Call of Chernobyl mods...?

lol

I'm only *sort of* joking here.

And hoping.

Yes, yes, I know that I sound ungrateful and greedy, BUT...

...honestly, who can blame me for asking the obvious?

Whatever your answer to the question, I *am* VERY grateful for your work in making this a virtual reality.

THANK YOU once more! I am very happy that you took some time from your Ghost Recon devotion to shine some light back STALKER's way. We're all the better for it too!

Haha, thanks to you m8 for being such enthusiast of Stalker series, best games ever.

My biggest regret in regards to the STALKER series is how closely Shadow of Chernobyl was released to Half-Life 2. HL2 got ALL of the media attention, and Shadow of Chernobyl got lost in HL2's shadow. Between the two titles, I can't help but conclude, easily, that STALKER is a far more immersive, captivating, and INTERESTING gameworld. I dearly wish that it had done better sales-wise, but HL2 sucked up 90% of all available cash.

Oh well, there's no way to undo that tragedy, and can only proceed with improving what we were gifted.

Thank you again, SO much, for advancing the cause for STALKER's fans.

And I can't wait to see what else you may have planned for us (*COUGH! COUGH! hint-hint*).
