Call of Chernobyl’s voice lines are either in Russian or English. This addon replaces those with Ukrainian lines from the official trilogy wherever applicable. Members of Duty, the mercenaries, and the Monolith still speak Russian.

Оригінальна озвучка «Call of Chernobyl» російською або англійською мовами. Це доповнення замінює їх, додаючи фрази українською з офіційної трилогії там, де це можливо. Долговці, найманці та монолітовці продовжують розмовляти російською.

Hi Sasha i'm planning to use this mod but for the momento i will like to try to only replace the megaphone in rostock for the moment (i can't stand it in english) what would be the specific file?
Now when i want to use the whole voices i'm using this mods in the following order could there be any problems? i'm using CoC by the way
Arsenal Overhaul (looks fine by the description)
Autumnal Winds (textures shouldn't there be any problem)
Structures Redux (same as above)
Outfits Addon
Smurths Dynamic Hud
Disable NPC detector beep (a sound file)
Disable Anomaly detector bepp (same as above)
Warfighter
Inaccurate Zombies
Smarch config for Arsenal Overhaul
Alternative Rain Sound (a sound file)
Real Carry Weight (i edited the values myself instead of replacing the files)
DoctorX Questlines (should be fine as well going by the description)
That's in that same order if everything is fine should i place it last or in a specific place? i'm mostly concern by the Outfits addon and Smurths i dont think there others should get in the way
Hiya. I've just updated the mod for use with 1.5. If you're still on 1.4.22, the file and folder you would need are
configs\misc\sound\script_sound_l05_bar.ltx
sounds\characters_voice\scenario\bar\dolg_megafon
That should do it.
Update for the comment above: I've released an addon that changes what you addressed, without adding Ukrainian voice lines. Moddb.com
excuse me, is this update still compatible with CoC v1.4.22? Thanks
Here's a version compatible with 1.4.22. Dropbox.com
I appreciated, thanks.
:D
SashaRed, could you renew link on vershion compatible with 1.4.22
Here. Dropbox.com
Thanks :)
No problem.
I'm glad this mod is still being updated, as I'm still using it. It's really ultra immerssive.
I installed the new version, I did read the changelogs but I'm wondering which new voice lines were actually added? For which factions/situations??
Well, in previous versions, some stalkers such as ecologists, bandits and members of Clear Sky only spoke in Ukrainian during combat. Now, they should be speaking it even in casual conversation. As for characters, the only ones I can remember adding Ukrainian lines to are Barman when he uses the megaphone in Rostok to advertise his place, and Nimble.
I tried finding something for Xenotech, but I can't find any good lines from the games to fit him, as his original lines come from a trader in Duty from Clear Sky. And that's Russian only. I guess the grumpiness of his lines suits him anyway.
Anyway, I'm glad you enjoy this addon. It makes a pretty simple change that can do a lot.
Ohhhh I see. Then that's a very good update. I have noticed a few extra lines in Ukrainian here and there so far yeah. With Clear Sky particularly.
Just leave Xenotech as is, it fits him.
Also I speak a good bit of Russian and Ukrainian is noticably different, so I thats why I like it. I always thought it was weird that the characters spoke Russian in the game..
Thanks for the feedback.
I've got a problem on my hands - some files in Call of Chernobyl aren't overwritten by the addon, and it seems my only solutions are to duplicate any groups of files that aren't sufficent (to keep the chance of the each line playing the same), or to put them in separate folders labeled _ukr, which I've done before, but that has less compatibility.
separate folder solution is the best, in my opinion.
Arsenal Overhaul patch is broken — it reverts Military voices back to Russian. aside from this, you made a great mod — probably my favorite for CoC. keep it up.
Fixed it. Дякую.
by the way, I've made a compatibility patch for the following combination of mods:
- Arsenal Overhaul
- Living Legend
- Immersive Fast Travel
in case anybody finds this useful, here's the download link:

I simply replaced all voice references with Ukrainian ones (where it was possible, specifically — Bandits, Clear Sky, Scientists, Freedom, Military, Loners).
I made a 'cleaner' version of the faction voices.
Features:
- Ukrainian voice files for each supported faction (bandits, Clear Sky, ecologists, Freedom, military, newbies, loners).
- package rebuilt from the ground up, SashaRed's mod used only for reference.
- removed even more leftover Russian lines.
- utilized more Ukrainian lines.*
- voice actors are now more consistent, so same stalkers won't speak in different voices anymore. this was achieved, in part, by not including the voice lines from a new voice actor used in Call of Pripyat (loner faction).
- ecologist faction can now have unmuffled voices. however, in Call of Chernobyl they all spawn wearing hazmat suits by default. additional changes need to be made before their unmuffled voices can be actually heard in the game.
- the 'newbies' voice set was left in for modding purposes, or in case somebody wants to install this package for the Shadow of Chernobyl, in which it was originally used.
- more varied 'joke' and 'idle' lines. this was achieved by combining (rather that overwriting) appropriate voice lines from all three S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games.
- more varied guitar tracks (same method as above).
NOTE: only generic faction members' voice files are included. use SashaRed's mod for everything else. however, it's important that you don't overwrite "human_01_ukr", "human_02_ukr", and "human_03_ukr" folders from SashaRed's mod. delete them, then install my version. if you just install one on top of the other, then leftover Russian lines will remain in the game, making the whole ordeal pointless.

* — there's still not enough of them. official Ukrainian localizations of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games have less voice lines than the original. this means that some factions will not be able to play the proper lines in certain situations. for example: ecologists and military will not play the lines related to faction war (requests for backup, alerts, point capture reports, etc).
Just found this and wanted to say big thanks. Very clean mod, very nice work. Cheers.
The way it was really meant to be played
Thank you for this mod, makes the game feel like it actually takes place in Chernobyl and not some russian wasteland.
Great add-on. Funny comparison video - I love it :)
10/10 Slava Geroyam!
