I'm ok with the fact that you don't want to use the cancel mission feature, but, I'm missing the feature that let's you know what item you've got to fetch before accepting it, planning on adding it?
Both the cancel feature and the see fetch item before accepting task feature were added in CoC 1.4.
In CoC 1.4, the entire tasking system was overhauled. When I updated Questlines, I found it would be impractical to re-write everything to work with the new code so I merged the "old" tasking system back in to get Questlines compatible with CoC 1.4.
This is why neither of those features were included. It would be an awful lot of work just to add those two small features.
So, not possible, even the second one?
It would be better than to ask several people for what they want, instead of reloading every time, doesn't feel right this way, but not knowing what also doesn't feel right, so I'm ****** lol
The second one is the one that would take an entire overhaul to do. I did want to add that in, but for such a seemingly small change it would require rewriting just about everything.

You might have an outdated st_dialogs_darkvalley.xml file from another addon.
Nope, i reinstall a latest version of addon. And crash is still here in same save file. What else i can try to do?
That file is not included with this addon, so updating it would not update the old file.
If you have that file in your gamedata folder, try deleting it.
Weird bug here, got a rescue mission at the bar, rescue some stalker in garbage depot, but when I go to the garbage, I found the guy wandering around the place, doesn't have the option to make him follow me or anything, and he always ends up getting killed
I'm playing as the Military faction, and I've been given the task to find "The enemy's Battle Plans", with the description saying "Lieutenant Kirilov has learned the location of enemy battle plans and needs them captured". No further description is given, and the map marker just goes to the south of Agroprom where there's literally nothing (not explicit marker icon is shown on the map either).
Is this meant to happen? If so, where do I find them? Which enemy was he referring to?
It's in a stash location. Look for a hidden backpack, or a hole in a tree, etc.
Probably, stash in the Agroprom Underground. I has the same situation on that location.
Looks like no one has mentioned it there, but it seems that playing your addon with Azazel mode breaks the quests, dying once cancels everything.

Hey DoctorX01, I'm a bit confused about the Monolith main questline. The first "main" quest mission I picked up is to get some stolen monolith equipment from the red forest, but I cannot find where the hell it is. Seems like it's in the mine, but it says it's above the mine and I just can't find it. Am I missing something here?

Hey, I appreciate the great mod. However, is there a way for me to cancel a quest after taking it? There seems to be no option to say "I couldn't complete the job" when running your mod.

Well, it's just that now I have a bugged quest in my log which I can't get rid of. If only there's a way...
You could change factions to a faction that is hostile to the task giver, the task will auto-fail, then change back if you like.

Is there a way to change this to 2 quests? I'm asking because, lets say Sultan, Olivius or someone can give you side quests and main quests. If you accept main quest first, you can't take side quest.
Also I would like it to be 2 cuz of personal preference, so I wanna know if its possible to tweak on my own. :)
There is a little "cheat" you can do. If you ask the NPC for a task before you tell him "I've come to see you", you can get a side quest from him and then get the main task.

Make sure "Story Mode" and "Azazel Mode" are unchecked when starting a new game. You will be given a "Meet with..." task to start the questline.

The spawner is bugged. Don't use it. It will crash your game.
I'm utterly confused. I played with Arsenal, Questlines, Faction Relations, and so on and it ran just fine. I decided to do a fresh install to try some new addons and so far I've only installed questlines. The issue is the game will not launch i extract gamedata into cop folder from the questlines archive and the game simply will not launch. I tried a fresh install again, same issue. I don't get it how it could just all of a sudden not work. Any ideas?
Neither this mod, nor the COC installation are supposed to be in the cop folder. Call of Chernobyl should always be separately installed, and make sure that you have the latest patch.
Will there be a option in the future to combine native story mode with the questlines mod? (for maximum story density)

Vanilla CoC Story Mode is already included in Questlines. That's why you can't run Questlines on Story Mode.

You can't use Questlines with Azazel mode.

Previous comment was mine; forgot to sign in. I think I figured it out on my own. I just have to start a new game with the "Story mode" option disabled. Then I get the "Meet Dushman" quest. Correct?
Yup.
Playing as Duty, then as Mercenary, also as Mercenary working for Freedom, whenever I get a hostage rescue quest the hostage is always a solo NPC just walking around who is not in danger and I can't complete the quest.

Is it possible in a future version of this addon to be given a choice, by your superior, on which faction you should receive your next mission from? For example, playing as a Military faction member, I'm constantly being asked to go and see Duty's Mangun or the Ecologist's Prof. Sakharov, when I just want to do missions related solely with my own faction and nobody else.

I'm stuck in the X-8 laboratory. The Loner's questline asks me to find proof of Clear Sky presence in the lab. I got the only documents I could find there (order of transfer, behind the three burers) but the quest doesn't update.
Am I missing something?

Hi DoctorX. How do I lower the requested amount of items that need to be retrieved by Librarian? (or change items at all) I tried looking up in tm_marsh and quest_items, but didn't really find anything. What should I edit, could you please answer?
( The reason for this is because Librarian wanted me to bring him 13 scientific health kits. And those are pretty rare and expensive, I'd be searching for them for the whole game, and I don't want be stuck on this task, because I've looked throughout text files for your missions and they are really awesome, there are a lot more interesting tasks made by you other than this boring bring me %itemname%, and I want to get to them in the storyline )
You can't change the count after you have accepted the task, unfortunately.
If you don't like doing fetch quests, or if you want to avoid getting one with such a high number, the best thing to do is make a quicksave before you ask for the task. The tasks are randomly generated when you first ask so he might offer a different one after the quickload.
