Call of Chernobyl is a free-play sandbox mod for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. : Call of Pripyat created by TeamEPIC. Description

Creates a linked set of varied tasks to take you throughout the Zone. Makes an actual game out of CoC with a start and a finish for each faction. - Added dozens of new tasks and several new task types. - Infinite replayability; playthrough will never be the same even if you play again as the same faction. - Storylines and tasks are dynamically assigned, tasks and task targets are more varied and random. - Added the ability to change factions. - Increased immersion with NPC dialogs; NPC's now only have one task to offer at a time and you can only accept one task at a time from a particular NPC. Whether an NPC has a task to give and what that task is changes every few hours. - Task rewards are now more varied and balanced. - Increased the odds of finding a mechanic toolkit in a stash. - Compatible with CoC 1.4.22

Your next questlines also will be compatible with "1.4 Story Mode"?
It is possible to implement "collect faction stripes" quests?
...and so far there is so, Trader/NPCs offer one job and you can take it or leave it. Can this be changed to Trader/NPCs offer all the jobs they have, but the actor can only take one of them. (like Owl in original CoP)

btw, for now i play 1.4 with AO3,outfit,dynaFactionRel and desolation, no bugs detected so far! ;)

Just one question, when this gets updated for 1.4.0x, will you need to start a new game?
Because I'm waiting for this mod, and if it's possible to just add it and play, I'll start playing now, and add it when it's ready, I just don't want to play for a couple days and need to restart it because of this mod

I don't know, but I'd wait (and I am hehe). It makes sense to start a new game with everything working properly, get the quests at the beginning etc.
EDIT: Plus I think Xray likes it more when you start a new game after changing things for instance, installing or removing a mod.

I'm now playing CoC 1.3.2O with this addon, as a merc, and it's epic ! Very long journey through the Zone, i have to get a PDA for Beard in Pripyat, but i have to travel to Yantar first to get the psi-helmet in order to enter the city.

Hi, how do i fix this? At first i got this error or one similar when i tried to talk to some guy i was suppose to rescue, when i went to talk to him, the game crashed. then i though to reinstall the mod. After doing that i cant even start the game, it just crashes and that error appears.
Is there any way to uninstall the mod at least?

I would also like to comment on how there doesnt seem to be much continuity, you talk to someone, they ask for something specific if you dont accept it, then close dialog, then open again, that request changes, close dialog and open again, the request changes again. Dont know if this is something with the mod or just how the game works.

That's how generic quests work in CoC, if you just say "nevermind" and then ask jobs available you'll get an equivalent randomized request (artifacts, weapons, consumables etc)

It's the last mod I'm waiting to be updated in order to play. Last login from the author is 8 October. I think it will be updated but there might have been some set backs(life) or the new 1.4 update requires alot of what is done to be reworked.
I personally edit some stuff on my stalker and it's kinda complicated as is, takes time.

Since we haven't heard from ol Doc X lately I might try my hand at updating this mod. I took a look at some of the config files and it looks pretty clean and should be fairly easy to update, if not slightly time consuming. I'll give it a couple days and then give it the old college try.

You should be able to get those by extracting Call of Chernobyl's .db files, a simple stalker db extractor should suffice.

At this point, I think you should just contact the mod's author and Alundaio(the main developer i think?) directly.

Wait, after re-reading you mean that you need a pure 1.3.2(0) download(i.e. you know how to extract the files but can't get the original)? The 1.2 original release is still available(or i can upload it for you) and Alundaio keeps a patch archive.

Phew. Good. I wasn't having any luck myself, spent most my time familiarizing myself with the config and script files having never modded Stalker before. I tried to leave vanilla story mode operational but you will most likely need to start a new game. I would recommend finishing your current game first.

i thought this was just me, im currently playing as merc passed through yantar killed some muties for my merc companion as a mission, and when i completed the mission they went from friendly to ENEMY ! but somehow they didn't shoot me just followed me anyway, weird bug indeed, never happened without doctorx questlines.. something to look for Doc.

Yes, but for now you have to choose between this and the main quest, when you start a game. If you choose the main quest, DrX dialogs won't show.
