I get this error every time I talk to colonel Petrenko from Duty when he asks me to lead an attack on an enemy base. I'm playing as an Ecologist. By the way nice addon, lets me have something to do beside the Brain Scorcher which I have done a dozen times already.

Might aswell add a glitch i experienced here aswell. When taking a task from Jupiters ecologist technician to find where an expedition team went after gone missing, the task auto fails on the spot, right after taking it.
Besides that havent encountered any more bugs, although i must play alot more.

Sorry to announce but i found a couple more bugs.
I acepted a mission from duty leader to assassinate a VIP. The target spawned at the northen area of the truck cemetary out of my reach. And the smartass doesnt come down into the map, so i cant kill him. Petrenko is gonna be ******... :(
Another bug is just some broken task text. For example both the name of the task and the description of it appear as a command line ingame. The task is still doable, but it requires some self-judgement to try and understand what the npc really wants. This happened two times. First with monoliths preacher to get some antidotes, and now again with beard on a hostage rescue task.
Sorry i cant post pictures. Im sure they would have been more helpfull, but my pc doesnt have internet at the moment and i can only manage online stuff in my retarded phone.

This mod broke my game for some reason(All of my mods are compatible with this, and I put the STCoP patch in, CoC is in latest patch aswell.)
For some reason, after starting a new game as one of the Army, it's not the Army that spawns in Agroprom, it's a random faction, it seems, I was actually curious as to why there was no one in the base, then the moment I went downstairs, I found a conga line of zombies that wanted a piece of my rear. I went "?". I died, and tried again, it was Clear Sky afterward, and again.. Bandits!
Is this intentional? Or is this some sort of bug? I can't seem to tell. Clarification and help would be appreciated!
EDIT: I tried other factions, too, turned out the same thing happens with them, I have no comment toward that.
This addon doesn't affect spawns at all. Something else must be causing that.
Thanks for responding, and it seemed you're right, I just needed a clean replacement of the gamedata folder and only then did I realize one of the mods were incompatible with it.
I have two problems:
1- I have the "Talk with Lebedev" quest active, and this give me other tasks, but de "Talk..." continue active.
2- In Wishmaster menu, the first option crash the game, with this error message:

The Zone indeed did disappear. I always get a good laugh when someone reports this as a bug. :D
Yesterday, I laughed a lot when this happened to me for the first time.
its supposed to do that. the creator(s) of CoC had a sense of humor, and the zone disappears because the game closes.
Hey I'm playing as Military and got the ''Sniper'' quest for a Monolith Target in Pripyat outskirts. By the time I got there, the target moved to Zaton. I eliminated him in Zaton but the quest doesn't complete.
Do you know any fixes?
Hmm.. not sure why that would have happened.
First, make sure the target is in fact dead. Pull up your task list and see if you have the icon to center the map over the target. If you do, click it. If it centers on Kuznetsov your task is complete and you just need to return for your reward.
If the map moves, but there is no target icon, the target may have moved underground.
If all else fails, you can use this cheat to complete the task and get on with the rest of the game:
Open the file \configs\misc\tm_agroprom.ltx with a plain-text editor like notepad. Look for the "Kuznetsov (Military Trader) Sniper Storyline Task" section. Within that section you will see the following:
condlist _0 = ...
condlist _1 = ...
Under condlist_1, add the following line:
condlist _2 = {true} complete
(**EDIT: remove the space between "condlist" and "_2". It should all be one word. For some reason it wouldn't display correctly in this post without the space)
Save the file and load your last save. As soon as the game starts the task will complete and you will receive your reward and be sent to meet your next contact. Save the game, open the file again, and delete the line you added.
Thanks man that tip will definitely come in handy. I loaded an old save, teleported to Pripyat, killed him and the task completed. So either the target being in the wrong location messed it up, or something I did along the way messed it up. I hope that helps.
I'm not sure if it's related, but I couldn't complete the x-16 quest when I opted for the prototype helmet. However restarting that level, and going directly for the calibrated version, let me finish the quest.

Hello, a question, i started as mercenary, went to get a mission, the mission was "Talk to (insert military guy name here)" but, im a merc, im hostile with the military. Obviously i cant complete the mission because this guy is in agroprom and the military just shoots me on sight, Is that supposed to happen?.
Ah, thanks for confirming. Just had this happen myself the other day. I'll have a fix out soon.
Also, just a few hours ago i started as mercenary again, reloading a save, i picked a mission and this time they asked me to talk to Xenotech (in cordon). I did talk to him and he asked me to meet another guy located in Dark Valley, inside the bandit base precisely. Again, since im a mercenary and bandits are hostile against all factions, i cannot complete the mission under normal circunstances, hopefully i have installed dynamic relations too and i was lucky i got a cease fire between mercenaries and bandits.

PD: Another minor thing,this maaay or may not be one of your missions from the addon, i got it from the merc trader in Dead City, the mission is called "Retrieve the secret documents from the enemy base", when i click on the mission from my pda to see the location, it just moves all to the top of the map, pass the chernobyl NPP and past generators, but there is no marker so i dont know where im supposed to be going.

I've found a problem with a task called locate brain scorcher equipment which points to a non-existent stash in X-8, the stash points to a model of the duga towers with a subtitle text that pops up if you point at it similar to how 'Stash (f)' appears when pointing to a stash, the duga tower model can't be interacted with other than showing the text

Do the people that allow you to change factions stay neutral? Example: Will Preacher try to shoot me in the face if i kill all of his monolith buddies? Does the reputation tie into it?

as loners, joined duty
as duty, joined military
And that's how gopniki get into army
Man, there must be some way to become Monolith, how did the others become Monolith without killing all Monoliths? Maybe some kind of quest?
Also maybe a quest where you could withdraw from being a monolith and become a loner again?

Yeah, been thinking about that since I made the change. How about if you re-enable the Brain Scorcher you become Monolith, and if you disable it as a Monolith you become a Loner?
Soon as I figure out how to do that I'll update this.
I have some ideas, dont know if it is possible to add them in the game, im not a programmer or anything but here they are.
1)To become a monolith member, you can go to the wish granter and ask for it.
2)If you are caught in a blowout/psy-storm, you get abducted into their ranks (like CS faction) and you start brainwashed.
3)Adding a special NPC from monolith, but neutral, who can change your faction.
I like both of your ideas. The Brain Scorcher thing would definitely be one cool and better option than having to kill everyone and then talk to Preacher, although it would not explain how all the other people became monoliths. :)
Maybe, if you want and have time to, there could be multiple ways?

To join Monolith, turn the Brain Scorcher back on after it has been disabled.
To leave the Monolith faction, overcome your brainwashing and turn the Brain Scorcher off. You will become a Loner.
- Completing or failing tasks now affects faction-faction relations rather than actor-faction relations
- Added dynamic news alert when player changes factions

I have a problem with the quest "Sniper". The thing is I have to report to Major Kuznetsov to get my reward and continue on my "storyline" (i play a duty soldier), but there is no dialog option to complete the task, i only have the change faction, and trade option...
I tried your trick to modify the agroprom.ltx with condlist_2, but this doesn't work...
Any clue to solve this ?
Not sure why you & Mudhut would have had a problem with this particular task. I've checked over all the code and have completed it several times myself. I'll continue to look into it.
Meanwhile, if you want to use the cheat I posted above, it doesn't work as-is anymore. For condlist_2 change "complete" to "fail". You won't get your reward but the questline will advance.

Warfare
Outfit addon
It just wont work for monolith
Warfare is probably the issue. Unfortunately this isn't fully compatible with Warfare atm.

im using the _weponzmodfiles AO 3.4.4 stuff to try this mod but whenever i attempt to start a new game i get a crash prior to being able to join a faction and to fix it i have to delete the ui_mm_Faction_Select.script, and then the game will work like normal, but this mod wont work at all. pls help
1.5 not compatible with latest COC patch yet, so when DoctorX updates it then youll be able to play
I'm very much looking forward to the updated release, it'll be a very good reason to start a new game :)
