The standalone Call of Chernobyl v1.4.22 game packed with a compilation of the best and necessary addons.
This is the standalone game Call of Chernobyl v1.4.22 packed with a compilation of the best addons.
They were installed together and optimized by me, but all the credits goes to the original authors.
These addons are:
- Absolute Nature Redux
- Absolute Structure Redux
- All the Upgrades
- Better flashlight
- Better nightvision
- Blue Corpse in minimap
- Companion Sprint
- Display Units in PDA Map
- Door Tweaks
- DRX CoC Questlines 1.25
- DRX Lost to the Zone 1.6
- DRX Lost to the Zone - Storyline
- English voices
- Faction Overhaul
- Fast Travel
- Ignite Me 1
- Lens flare remover
- Nano Hud
- Outfit Addon 1.4.7
- STCoP Weapon Pack 2.8 v5.1
- SWTC CoC 1.12
- Traders buy everything.
My contribution consist in a few tweaks to get:
- a bit higher jump and faster sprint
- improved recoil and stability for all weapons
- a slower degradation of weapons, suits and helmets
- more artefacts and ammo found at the dead stalkers
- a few unique and very powerful weapons sold only by Nimble in Cordon
- the quest items from storyline can be sold to Owl in Zaton
- a few bugs fixed and many other minor things, too many to remember them all.
Important Notes:
- Do not install the game into default directory (C:\Program Files (x86)\Call of Chernobyl), will not work there. Better create a new directory or install it to another drive.
- The original post has been updated.
I noticed that the disguise system can generate errors into storyline if is used in some missions, so I removed this modification from game. Also a few minor modification have been made to slightly improve the game.
Recommendation:
Is recommended to run this game under DirectX 11 (Enhanced) with at least medium details.
You need a PC with minimum a Quad Core CPU, 4 GB RAM, and a video card from nVidia GTX or AMD R9 series with at least 2 GB GDDR5 of video memory.

Two questions: 1: Does 'All the upgrades' mean no need for toolkits or no need to choose between upgrades? 2: Is one of the bugfixes for the bug in Infiltration mod where you can't pay to change factions, you'll just end up defaulting to the starting faction?
1: It mean no need for toolkits, all mechanics do their job like Forester, but if you complete the jobs for toolkits, you will get a discount.
2: Is not a bug, you can change the faction, but in order to be seen as member of the new faction you must change the suit also.
Please read the description to see that I'm not the author of all these addons, so, I can not provide support for them.
Played this for 2 hours straight now, runs incredibly well. No crashes or too outlandish bugs so far (but beware of NPCs pushing you into the wall at 100 rads bar).
This is actually well made and it is very nice to see all those essential mods so niceley pieced together.
Although I have to say, this is an extremely easy mod. I say this as a veteran who is not so fond of the ultimate hardcore experience with all that grinding and quicksaving like Misery for example - but even then this is too easy. Killed a bunch of bandits and now I have 6 valuable artifacts, two of which give me -5 radiation AND +50kg weight limit. This is rather unbalanced and progression is way too fast, even though sometimes this is really refreshing after having played too much hardcore mods.
I really like this mod pack, but it definitely needs more balancing!
Way too easy at the moment.
Edit: before someone asks, yes of course I played on master difficulty. I ran into two anomalies at once and none of them even took half my life.
Edit2: played for three hours straight, first crash at, surprise, Truck Cemetery. Also the jump height is way too high, although it does help sometimes if you are stuck.
Another problem is with NPCs in a Blowout - I was in Rostok and retreated to base with at least 15 NPCs (which shouldn't be as much, because my spawn rate is 0.5). Not all NPCs fit into the building, so another 15 guys got zombiefied and instantly got hunt down. So this resulted in so much loot, I got ~250000 rubles without firing a single shot.
Also I encountered a bug where my 3 companions would fight with me in an arena fight, in the following fight they vanished and I couldn't find them afterwards, not even after level change.
So yoshjoz, you're a tough guy in this game? Well, I have included an upgrade that rebalacing the game. See in description, maybe you will be pleased this time.
And about accessing Truck Cemetery, this bug is part of the original game. If you use Windows 10 and DirectX 11, when you try to go in this area game will crashes in 90% of cases for low memory... You can enter and continue the game loading the autosave but this bug is very annoyng indeed.
Yeah well, I really wouldn't consider myself a tough guy in Stalker. Parts of Dead Air and Misery are way too hard for me, but this one here is a joke. Played for almost 4 hours and got 170kg weight limit, an exoskeleton and 4 weapons with max upgrades.
It was quite fun actually, but nothing that catches my interest in the long run.
I will try your update in the next days and report back in!
And thank you very much for your work, I guess I didn't appreciate your effort enough.
Edit: and yeah, I know about Truck Cemetery. Literally the only crash I encountered, which is really surprising and great I'd say
maybe time for a new hobby then, no hostility intended
nah, I really love my stalker games and mods. I just think that the creative directing in most mods for stalker is bonkers. Misery and Dead Air are great mods and I played them for countless hours, but still I really don't like the painfully slow progression of, for example, Misery. Feels like a free2play-game sometimes. I really don't like to grind for hours and I don't think that this is the "real" way to play stalker.
Hmmm i think its time to get back into the zone :)
Very well done , there some weapons that seems really overpower , but at the final part they are for sure needed.
I also suggest to eliminate some weapons ( like the alternate ,modern, military, version exept maybe for tactical since those are in part different from the normal version ).
Anyway very nice also the aditional story plot , you should write that feature in the description.
Outstanding work, all thats left is maybe adding warfare or just making the factions wage war a bit more.
Overall very pleasing, a bit easy thou so I am gonna give the rebalance a try.
Artifacts could really need a rebalance thou, make them hurt you more on top of all those benefits so you gotta think about how to combine them. They're also extremely common among NPC.
As for the guns, the saiga and vepr12 have a 20 round magazine when actualy it would be 5 or 8. Those are huge shotgun rounds not tiny rifle rounds so that small magazine isn't gonna fit 20 of those. There are drum magazines for them but even then the max is 12 I believe.
When ever i try to run the exe i get this: The setup files are corrupted. Please obtain a new copy of the program, i have downloaded 3 times and i get the same error, i can't even install it.
Download with the alternative links, from google drive or mega.nz, they are in description.
Another cause can be your antivirus software, but if the problem persist I think is time to reinstall your windows OS...
I did a refresh of the windows OS 3 months ago, but i will try the alternative links
Edit: ok this is strange i had to move it to the download folder to work
thanks dude
Is there anyway to remove the annoying icons in the bottom left corner of the screen. The ones for medkit and bandage etc.
The script can be modified for this but the vast majority of players need them, they are useful information.
OK thank you. I am able to remember a few hotkeys in order to use medkits and bandages etc.
If you can give advice on how to modify the script so that I can remove them that would be much appreciated.
Failing that are there any other replacements I could use instead.
I tried to get in Truck Cemetery from all the other maps and you can't ... even if you try "continue the game loading the autosave".
I can confirm that this runs well with the x64 COC engine. I played for hours without any issues, except a unhandled exception to do with a soldiers face... when I shot him in the face. but this only happened once, and everything has been fine since then.
Excuse me, good sir, but how were you able to make it work with the x64bit executable? Because whenever I try to do so, it always crashes when I load a save.

Ahh, I haven't installed this for a long time, at least 11 months ago.
1. Install COC 32bit.
2. Copy in the 64 folder
3. install the 64 bit libraries.
play.
I have uploaded the folder which i think i used, but I cant be sure. PM me your contact, I will be online for a few hours
That did it. You're a life saver. Thanks!
This engine was experiemental (but also quite stable).
There are many different versions of the 64bit engine, and there are some peopel still developing it. (Especially the russian modder groups).
Check out github for some changes to the engine. Alundio did a lot of work on engine development, but some of his work is not found in this engine.
If you learn to program and compile, the engine could be more complete, but most people have stopped developing the engine as they are waiting for Stalker 2.
Also played this for hours on my old Win7/64 PC. Runs smooth (DX9 and DX11) and looks realy good. No objections from my side on the HUD. Although its to easy
for me. Its more of a sight seeing tour than a challenge. There was a update mentioned in a older posting to make the game a couple notches harder....
Just played a couple hours freeplay today and i have to agree with
yoshjoz. It is WAY to easy, loot is WAY to much, dealers pay full price
for 50% weapons and suits. One get rich very quick. Additionaly the
weapons upgrades are no longer tied with the toolsets. So the player
can get a fully upgraded weapon and armor in half a hour gameplay.
Count in the very easy to find artifacts with partly allround positive
properties and the player is a invincible tank with faster sprint than
normal in less than a hour. And that in master difficulty.

I´ll have to say, it has really bad stutters at the start, but then it was nice, performance isn´t the problem though, it´s the gameplay itself, it´s BEYOND easy. You get some money really quick, every stalker has artifacts that are insanely powerful, it´s like Anomaly for kids... I´ll try to tweak something in any LTX file, just to make life in the zone realistic and less beautiful
