The built in Fast Travel System enabler (now with a map!) with a few bells and whistles! Since I couldn't find this file anywhere and I've seen other people struggle with it, I decided to upload this on my own. This is the official Fast Travel option that comes with the game but is turned off by default. Hope this help. Now get out of here, Stalker!
Thank **** for this! Also if you use the additional fast travel ltx file you will get more locations that you can travel to.
I know, but I wanted the minimal travel locations so I wouldn't be teleporting everywhere. Just to important places in between.
thanks. also your picture for this is ******* great.
Thank you for this, its amazing!
Can we have the list of aviable FT locations for factions? Cause I played as bandit, came to freedom base and no icon appeared. I walked all over the place and nothing. Same at garbage. I visited bandit outpost at depot and there is no icon.
Unfortunately, I don't know the actual points xD I only know of a couple, like the Dead City Merc Base and the Duty Bar, but other than that, you'll have to discover them on your own!
If you open the actual file in Notepad or what have you, you can see the short form for the locations, so you could try to decipher those if you could.
Its literally most of the main bases of each faction, also I believe there is some issue with the engine and how it like marks down where you visit, cause i walked through the bridge in cordon like 10 times and it only registered on the 7th or smth
There actually is a bug with the feature as it is right now. You have to save and load near the points for the m to register.
I only know a few as well.
Freedom base in Military Warehouses.
Bandit base in Cordon.
Loner(?) base in the Great Swamps.(top right, road to cordon)
Yanov Station in Jupiter.

Took me this long, but I've finally made that map! Check the description.
So this enables fast travel function?
Yes
This mod has good and bad sides.
But I like it.
You can save a lot of time with fast travelling, but why would you do it when you can kill bandits and find artifacts on the way to your destination?
I usually use it just to help complete quests. I get side tracked and wear out my F5 key on the way to my destination but when I'm full on equipment, low on supplies, I like to just get back to a place where it's safe (relatively speaking) and sell my goods, or drop things off I wanna hoard.
It's a nightmare travel on CoC because the map design is so ****** up... Thanks for this mod!
Still doesn't discover points immediately after locating them - have to save and reload even after the fix...
Indeed. I pointed that out in the description. The fix was the points actually appearing when you save/reload. Before, that didn't happen. It's just a bug with the fast travel system.
The bug has been there a while now. Any possibility of identifying and fixing the bug soon (even from Team Epic themselves)? Thanks for the upload!
can you tell me how to use this mod, i add this mod in CoC but i dont know how to use it :( pls help me :(
Just extract the folder and place it into your "Call of Chernobyl" directory. Should work right then and there.
ugh i got it thank you :)
Hey, are there supposed to be points at the dead city merc base and the agropom military base? I've saved and loaded at both locations a number of times and it hasn't marked those locations. A ton of my locations are marked as expected, just not those.
Thanks!
The Dead City Merc Base point is behind the building, few feet off and centre (Odd, I know). As or the Agropom Military Base, I haven't found that one yet, if it exists.
Ok thanks, I'll look around for it at the Agropom base.
Check out the new map in the description!
This addon saves me a lot of headaches. Makes turning in quests incredibly less tedious. Great work!
so this fast travel isnt unlocked instantly?
i think i have the fast travel from the previous one with more then just the bases of each faction
No, here, the first point should be unlocked automatically if you started in an area with one nearby, the others you have to go find.
Is there a global map of all the locations? I've been to several spots like Agroprom, Red Forest, and Darkscape but have never found any travel points; is this intentional?
I haven't found all the points myself yet, but I am working on creating a map of all the points.
thank you!
Finally made that map, check the description!
Another frkn bug !
Please elaborate.
Exactly how do i use the mod? I spam click the green house icons and nothing happens, i try to right click in hopes of a menu but nothing happens either. I'm in the Zaton safezone and trying to quicktravel to jupiter trainstation.
You have to zoom into the map where you want to go, right click the house icon, and a little box that says "Fast Travel" (Or something like that) pops up that you can click.
If possible, can you share the points you have found? And for those who use the mod have them put in their input on missing locations and you add them?
I think it would be much quicker that way.
Nvm! I believe I've found a complete set. I'll post it once I get the chance.
I would be thankfull if you would.
Does it work with CoM?
I haven't used that mod, but feel free to let me know if it does!
Is some kind of a map of all the travelling points avaible? It is kind of ridicolous to walk around the entire area saving and loading all the time so that i can find where the specific travelling point is and make it actually appear on the map as a travelling point. I lost so much time moving to places that I thought weren't travelling places because they would not appear on my map, but only after saving and loading while standing in that specific location it would appear as a travelling point. A map or a list of all the avaible travelling points for this addon would solve the problem.
I dont get it , i installed the mod but how do i fast travel ? What i must doo to fast travel ? Cant find anything in the game
You have to find all the fast travel points first. The first place you start your game should have one right away. You will see little green houses on the map that you can right click to travel to.
Is there a point for the rookie village in cordon? if so, where is it?
What places or areas does this mod apply to?
I wanted to mention that this mod has a bug that can occur after a long playthrough where the PDA lags down to 10-15 FPS when viewing the map because of anomaly fields being duplicated. I think this is caused by a fast travel point stacking the existing map on top of the updated one, assuming that's how fast travel points work.
Regardless, I have noticed the more fast travel points are unlocked, the worse the lag gets.
Really? That sounds odd. I'll have to check that out. Does it also do it with the "More fast travel locations" mod?
Not sure, since I don't use it.
I'm gonna try a fresh install later and see what's up. Hopefully it's not this mod, but it's the only one I have enabled besides Arsenal Overhaul and Dynamic Faction Relations.
Let me know how that goes.
Yeah, the anomaly fields stacking I found was a bug with CoC itself yesterday. The mod isn't causing it.
Ah, splendid! So my reputation goes unharmed!
I'm glad! I really like this mod so I'm glad it wasn't that.
Have you reported on this to the CoC-team?
I probably will later today. I was intending to before, but totally forgot about it. Thanks for reminding me!
This should be fixed in 1.5; the duplication of anomaly field icons, that is.
It's been so long that I didn't know there was a new version! Whoops! My bad :P
