This mod adds a series of new weapons from 7 Days to Die (Alpha 15) into S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Chernobyl.
Introducing the 7 Days to Die Weapons Pack, compatible with S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Chernobyl (1.4.22), players now have a new arsenal of weapons available for those who've got what it takes to survive. All weapons, names and animations have been modded to emulate 7 Days to Die (Alpha 15).
IMPORTANT NOTICE:
- Please make a backup copy of your gamedata folder before you use this mod. A new save game is recommended when using this mod.
ADDITIONAL NOTES:
- Grants the player with access to a variety of new weapons from 7 Days to Die, a zombie survival game with crafting elements.
- Animations may look basic, but this is intentional. This mod's weapons are supposed to emulate the ones available in the Alpha 15 version of 7 Days to Die. Weapons have been designed to function at a field of view (FOV) of 70, though clipping issues have not been detected between the FOV values of 50 and 80.
- Only tested for S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Chernobyl (1.4.22). Not tested or adapted for other patches. Use with other patches is done so at your own risk, though frequent crashing may occur.
- Includes two patches; one of them only makes any new weapons available from Sidorovich and Forester (installed by default) and the other patch makes any new weapons available at all traders who are able to sell weapons. Feel free to check out my blog for more information on this.
- New game highly recommended.
NOTABLE ISSUES:
- NPC characters are unable to use these weapons. However, they can be bought from a few traders (or all if you have used the correct patch).
- Third-person models of weapons from this mod are of lower quality than that of their first-person counterparts. This is because they are not meant to be observed closely and helps preserve memory.
- Not all weapons from 7 Days to Die (Alpha 15) have been included for technical reasons.
- Azazel mode will be disabled while this mod is installed to prevent bugs with this mod's weapons. This can be enabled again by going to the folder named "configs", then "ui" and renaming the files named "ui_mm_faction_select.xml" and "ui_mm_faction_select_16.xml" to a different name. Only putting the "-" symbol at the very start of their names to make the game not read them is what I would usually do.
- Lower resolutions may cause crashes. Resolutions of 1280x720 and 1920x1080 are recommended.
INSTALLATION:
1. Extract the .zip or .rar file for this mod. After that, copy the gamedata folder and use it to overwrite your current gamedata folder, or paste it in your S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Chernobyl directory where your gamedata folder should be. Make sure to back your files up!
2. Remember to have fun with it! Please tell me about your experiences with this mod.

Yeah while the sounds are nice...these are guns from another weapon pack.
Correct. That was another thing that inspired me to make this mod. I was fooling around with weapon animations one day and saw how goofy it looked when running around without a sprinting animation. :D
Thanks for stopping by, too.
So where ARE the weapons from? since credits to the models creators or where they are taken from are vacant? just tryin to save ya the trouble man
The weapons are made up of animations and models from Arsenal Overhaul 3.1, STCoP Weapon Pack 2.8.0.7 and The Armed Zone, though I had to edit a few of the models myself. The textures (also edited) are from these mods, too.
