IMO:
The idea 1 sounds interesting, i really like the concept, but i feel something is missing...

The idea 3 it's the coolest one, i love it; but it would make it like a Siege Tank (deploy/borrow instead of siege mode) that can't attack in tank mode.
Maybe you can give it a second skill?
Anyway, it's my favorite

I'll go for idea 1, but if it is what it gonna be then you should replace that badass cannon with a, maybe small fusion cutter imo

How about, it's an MBT but if you still want something from Red Alert, then how about the Sickle jump ability? It kinda looks like the Sickle, except more badass.
I don't really like the idea of a unit "Borrowing" to attack. That really only works for the Lurker, it doesn't even work well for the Swarm Host in HotS.

About the borrowing to attack, i think the only part that goes underground are the legs (base) to stabilize and deploy (At least in the MBT); like a siege tank.
Anyway, still it's weird... and cool!
I like the idea 3: MBT
And maybe a second skill like the sickle jump ability (as said TemplarFreak) or something like the Warhound's "Haywire missiles" to wreck mech or even the Reaver's "scarabs" to deal splash damage.
I like idea 1, not idea 2 because there isn't innovation with a terran baneling and not idea 3 because it would be like the siege tank. Idea 1 sounds like an infiltrator unit with those abilities and better in combination with the disassembler attack.
I still like idea 1, but I'm not sure about the attack.
idea 3 I like unless ur going to delete a unit if I read that right. otherwise id pick 1 because self destructing units suck such wasted money

In that case "Idea 1" seems to be a specialized unit (in mech).
Maybe i'm wrong.
And... Although the deploy (borrow) it's almost a siege mode, it's interesting because of the no attack when it's unborrowed.
With an area attack, could more useful.
Also, Heavy crawler it's not original, there are a lot of tanks:
Siege tank (tank mode)
MAAP opressor
Hammerhead
So, i still choose idea 3 <---
(Giant cannon and cut the Heavy crawler)
PS: Maybe you can keep both (idea 3 and 1) using the HotS widow mine model for idea 1, or find another model.
Idea 1 isn't bad. :) i liked.
PS 2: Are you thinking in the ambush skill from DOC for any unit in BG? (Borrow for some units)
PS 3: Did you think about the Sickle jump ability? (Templarfreak's suggestion)
