Congratulations, you have been chosen to beta test a new application, the Consciousness User Interface! This application gives users the ability to wirelessly connect their computer to the consciousness of various people shortly before they find themselves in a situation where bad has gone to worse, also known as a worst-case-scenario. The app was made so that users can get proper training for these situations and then take control of the person's consciousness prior to the situation in hope that they can either prevent it, or help the person to cope by moving them to safety. The ConUI connection process is completely safe, as it doesn't cause damage to the brain of the person being controlled. Side effects include minimal hallucinations, headaches, and slight disorientation, all known to start immediately after disconnect and to last for up to 5 minutes. Hey everyone! Bullet In The Gut, a survival-based first-person-shooter mod for Half-Life, has been officially announced! Unfortunately, I let habit grab me, and I rushed much too fast into creating the story for the mod that I didn't even think about how the rest of the game was going to go, and after I thought it all out in my head, the story was going nowhere. So, now the whole story is going to be rewritten once the rest of the team and I brainstorm for another way to go with what we have.
Rewriting everything shouldn't take too long, so hang tight. In the meantime, help me help you by helping me work on the mod! Right now, I'm creating everything by myself, and it's more work than I can handle. I would really appreciate it if anyone even helped me brainstorm ideas for the story, since that's the main thing keeping progress from moving at the moment. Thank you in advance!
