They say that every person is like a tower. Your principles are the wooden base on which it is built. Your morals are the stones that enclose the soul which resides within. Mine is different. My tower is built on festered beams of decaying driftwood. My bricks are brittle and cracked, and consist only of sickening lies and hypocrisy. Its dweller is a twisted and mangled abomination which should not be allowed to see the light of day for as long as it lives. I swore on false motives to protect the one I cared for, even if it was against her will. I can only ask myself this now. Do I still deserve her? Do I even deserve to live?
For those that want to play this mod, I have no more time to work on it, but I don't want to let everything go to waste. With Amnesia modding slowly dying out, I have decided to upload what I've made for the community to enjoy.
Before you set sail on this adventure of nightmares and mental twists, there are a few things you must know.
- The Orbs will cure your health and sanity, and save your game. They are vital to your survival.
- Sound is your greatest ally, and your ears are your most valuable tools, so use them well.
- You will never be able to go back to an area once you ascend to the next one. Make sure to not have any regrets when leaving.
You install this Custom Story by opening the .zip file and dragging the Built on a Rotten Foundation map into your custom_stories folder in your Amnesia files.
Sincerely,
Frostedge

Hello everyone,
The Third Floor has at last been fully finished, it's not turned out the way I had in mind, but I've had some positive feedback and criticism from a few of my testers regarding it.
Some minor tweaking will be done here and there, but the majority of the Third Floor is as good as finished.
I'm currently working on the Fourth Floor, which will have a variety of different environments crammed into a single map. I've got some ideas regarding that floor, which might interest some of you, but it's just a case of wait and see if my testers like the idea or not.
Besides that, I've also edited the difficulty of a puzzle on the Second Floor, since it took my testers excessively long to solve it without me telling them what to do.
Sincerely,
Frostedge
The title actually kind of speaks for itself, really.
This is not the actual full version, just everything I'd made that I found finished enough to upload.
The key to the elevator in the library has an invisible force blocking you from being able to pick it up.
the key can be picked up when pushed out of its original placement with something like a book. When it fell onto the ground, I was allowed to pick it up.
Stop telling people it's a problem for them specifically when it's obviously a problem for multiple people and needs to be fixed. You put SOMETHING in the way of the key that makes it unable to be picked up unless moved out of the way.

A great concept with good scares though is a little short at the moment. If you'd like to watch my play through follow the link:
At the library I have been reading every book. After that went to the elevator room and found the key. The key is not glowing blue however and can't be picked up. A bug I guess.
Sad because until that point the mod was pretty good. Loading another save doesn't work either.
I think that might be a bug on your end, I've checked my coding and there shouldn't be a single script where the key becomes uninteractable. Maybe there are remnant files from another custom story or full converstion mod interfering?
I can't think of one. Also I don't have any FC mods. Really strange tho.
in the dark level with 2 monsters (after the library), what do I have to do? where is the key?
When you go back to the elevator, then walk through the Orb room and then go right. You should find a room with unlit candles.
what can I do with the jar filled with blood?
It's one of the two items you have to give to the receptionist.
