A mod for Doom II inspired by Brutal Doom, but this time "brutalizing" Wolfenstein 3D by adding new weapons, enemies, textures, animations, and of course, gore. Lots of it. That's not all though -- the maps from the original game are being redesigned too. Note: I'm not the mod's developer. Credit goes to Zio McCall for the concept, development, as well as the various contributors. I just felt that this mod needed a place here.

A small update in honour of Wolfenstein 3D's 30th anniversary. This is mostly a quick fix and rebalancing update that i'm gonna use as a better base for...
The first two versions of Brutal Wolfenstein,made way back in 2014.
Just started playing but there are some obvious things that need fixing or changing.
1. Make the new music optional, but add in remastered and lightly redone versions of soundtrack, check out youtube for em.
2. Add in Mac music as well?
3. More light sources please. Some of the areas are just too dark.
4. Make the enemies projectile based instead of hitscan
5. Modify the levels a bit more, make some completely new areas, change areas to fit the Doom engine and not just Wolf3D. I'd love to see a completely reimagined wolf3d, not just a pure copy paste into the doom engine.
6. If you want to add new enemy types, check out Coming of the Storm and all other Wolf Skevos Jones mods. I'd love to see the enemies reimagined to fit a bit more of a realistic nazi/wolfenstein hybrid.
7. the ammo clips for the MP40 and STG44 look too similar, maybe add a bit of a different palette to one of em.
I'm excited for this mod and cant wait to see more!

I've done 1st episode on maximum difficulty & received a bunch of positive emotions! The ******* Nazis are torn and exploded into ******* pieces!
But, some remarks:
* I played 4.5 old, cos i like old music. May you make new soundtrack optional for all versions?
* MP40 = SMG, Schmeisser (STG44) = assault rifle & maybe its needs to/for different slots?
* When i reloading, i cant punch ******* nazi or change weapon (on maximum difficulty its can be critical, but its realistic).
* Granaten doesnt work on GZDoom 3.4.1., so i played on Zandronum!

I don't think it's exactly dead, just taking a long while to get updates.

Any reason BJ keeps going "Mhm!" every time I shoot? It's getting really annoying.
It's amazing, but I got a pair of problems:
1) I'm not able to do manual reload on my guns, when I started, the command "reload" was not recognized, I tried to go through the options to change the command reload to my key "R" but it doesn't do anything.
2) I'd like to have the option to put the original Soundtrack of Wolf3D, don't get me wrong, the new one doesn't sound bad, but I'm more attached to the original MIDI version.
Maybe because you set the reload to the wrong bind.You probably tried to configure the gzdoom reload bind and not the one custom of the mod.Try to scroll down the options,next time...
It would be good to have a laser weapon added to the mod, and maybe the spear of destiny as a secret weapon
There's a laser rifle, don't you idkfa? And a spear of destiny would be cool !
