As the title says, I'm wondering if there would be any interest in making what I call BDXVMOE- basically, it would be: Brutal Doom V21 + XVME 1.3.1 Monsters Only + XVME Respawner, all rolled into one file, with the few handful of glitches/oversights passed- and a respawner that actually works in GZDoom. Maybe drop a weapon spawn randomizer into the mix. The two monster-specific glitches I've encountered are: 1.) plasma zombie's projectiles will 'disappear' if he is firing directly at the player (at a 90 degrees angle), and 2.) the chainsaw zombie doesn't do any damage when they hit the player, even when the animation works. the Autoshotgunguy and Labgal drop their brutal-doom weapons, but other zombies- with the exception of the chainsaw zombie- use a weapon spawner script that is incompatable with most other mods, meaning they don't drop either weapons or ammo, which makes some mods a lot more difficult than intended. Adding new difficulty settings- specifically, the black metal difficulty and the 'easier' (reduced damage) difficulties- would also be a nice touch. These would've been added with the BD21.0.1 monsters only patch... if it wasn't completely broken.

The other route would be an updated version of Project Brutality Monsters only, with the already-brutalized monsters from BDXVME added in (most are in both, but a few are XVME-only), and that GODFUCKINGDAMN teleporter-tile damage glitch fixed.

I'm really willing to put in the effort/time, and most of the hard work is already done so it really would just be combining the mods (lol, just combined mods), but I lack the experience/knowledge to figure out what's breaking the mods whenever I try to run them with even extremely minor modifications. I need someone with the experience I don't have to point me in the right direction here and there... Oh, and getting the XVME 1.3.1 MO respawner working for GZDoom- that's honestly the single most important thing for me.

I have not testet the XVME monsters yet but the updated v21 monstersonly works great.
