- Overhauled weapon tags, removed underlines from some of them.
- Locked doors bleep when you try to open them and fail.

- Life Sphere: Gives 300 HP.
- Ultra Sphere: Gives 300 HP and AP.
- Black Armor: Gives 300 AP with 90% damage absorb.
- Strong health/armor charges: Gives 5 HP / AP.
- Quad Damage Sphere: Quadruples damage.
- Carnage Sphere (ultra-rare): Invulnerability, quad damage, fire rate, high speed and jump, 300 HP and AP.
- Additional upgrade spawn patch that makes backpacks hold 1 item and combat backpacks hold 1 item and 1 weapon upgrade.
- Smart Scavenger patch which is fully compatible with PB and Saegiru's UAC Survival Pack.

"PB_Overhaul_Pack 2.03.pk3": The main file, obviously.
"PBO_Extra_Powerups.pk3": Alternative stronger versions of some powerups that spawn along with them.
"PBO_Old_HMG_Patch.pk3": Brings HMG spin feature back from older versions of Project Brutality.
"PBO_UDV_Compatibility.pk3": Makes radar and a few minor stuff work properly.
"PBO_Underbarrel_Grenade_Launcher.pk3": Features a 5th upgrade, an underbarrel grenade launcher for DMR. Uses HE Grenades.
"PBO_New_Upgrade_System.pk3": Makes backpacks contain usable items. It also makes combat backpacks contain weapon upgrades. Recommended for Ultimate Doom or short wads.
"PBO_New_Upgrade_System_UGL.pk3": Same as above, this one contains underbarrel grenade launcher additionally. Load them seperately!
"PBO_Smart_Scavenger.pk3": amv2k9's Smart Scavenger edited particularly for Project Brutality. It also contains Saegiru's Smart Medikits from UAC Survival Pack: Moddb.com
Other Smart Scavenger extensions are also for other UAC Survival Pack addons.

ok here is an issue. I got the DMR grenade launcher working, but I didn't want to use the overhaul, but now the DRM make no sound when you fire it and it seems to have unlimited grenades.
and then I add the overhaul file and then it fixes the DMR firing sound but I cannot get the grenade launcher to work anymore when I didn't change anything from when it was originally working. Any help?
ok I got the sound of the DMR working without the Overhaul mod, but now when I get the UGL upgrade for the DMR it just dual wields. Here is what I have set in my settings

and I have those files in the directory. Everything else works. Nothing but backpacks spawn and they have the upgrades in them but when i get the DMR UGL, it will just dual wield.
You don't load both Upgrade System together; it's one or the other depending on if you use PBO's UGL.
thanks a bunch. Also where do you find the ammo count for the UGL? I can't seem to locate it. Be nice to know how many grenades I have.
You won't find it on the default HUD. If you don't want to switch to a different HUD, go to HUD options and enable alternate HUD; it should show an ammo counter for everything you collected thus far.
If you want to switch, look around for HUDs that supports showing ammo counter. I like to use HXRTC HUD for PB since it supports many of PB's feature plus it's lightweight while having a couple of neat features (i.e. monsters/items/secrets tally for current map).
thanks much appreciated. I have 2 more questions. When using the HXRTC hud, I was unable to load my previous save. The game would error and the console would come up.. I had to make new games and new saves. Is that normal?
and for my second question, in PB I have set the enemy spawns to "Death Wish" and I noticed that the black imps no longer climb on the walls. Is that normal as well? I did not turn off wall crawling in the options either.
Yes that's normal; this is an integrity check for the game since HXRTC HUD have new functions that the default HUD doesn't. Since your old saves didn't have these new functions, it may cause errors if you had been able to load your saves; the game steps in so that doesn't happen.
Minor change addons (i.e. stat changes to your weapons' damage/accuracy) should be okay to load mid playthough but addons that makes significant changes should be loaded after you're done with your playthough.
If you still have your old saves, my suggestion is to continue your playthough with the alternate HUD built into Doom and after you've finished the playthough, make the switch to the HXRTC HUD. Of course, if you just started then it's no big deal to start over.

how do you know how many HE grenades you have when using the DMR UGL?
Just a quick and random question...Overlords...seriously...what weapon do you think is more effective for killing them?
To me it seems that not many weapons seems to be "more effective" in disposing of them. Playing with the PSX conversion wad...having one of them is fine, 2 is a pain but some levels there are loads...and they really ruin my day haha
I'd rather face off against a bunch of Belphegors (I know spelling?) or Annihilators :p
you need cheap tricks versus overlord (specially in levels with tons of them) Black Hole Generator is the best way to kill them, if they are alone, double autoshotgun with upgrade, or the triple minigun
I cannot run PB overhaul with PB 2.03 due to a bunch of missing actors and lines.
Using ZDL as well, So i have PB 2.03 then PB overhaul below.

Hey I love your mod. I am developing a weapon and sound update and wondered if I couldn't use a select few of your sounds. Those would include the reloading of the shotgun the plasma gun noise and a few others. Let me know if that's ok

This overhaul mod is good, but can you please tone down the volume on most weapons? They're pretty loud compared to the BD ones, as if BD wasn't loud enough.
