The definitive gameplay enhancement mod for the GZDoom and Zandronum engines. Adds realistic gore, dismemberments, headshots, executions, lightning effects, particles, makes enemies smarter and harder, makes gun louder and beefier, and adds epic new boss battles.

Description

**UPDATE 08-24-2016** Added 11 new random sounds. This replaces all the music for levels with a creepy industrial background noise. Interspersed with that, you will hear random screams, pain, voices, and monster sounds. The noises occur at random and at varying levels of volume. If you are looking for a creepy ass atmosphere when you play, this is it. This is standalone and will work with any other mod, although it will override any other music mods. I will be including this with the next version of Ultimate Doomvisor that will be out soon. Stay creepy and stay brutal!

This goes nicely with Pitch Black Darkness Level in the UDV.

Exactly. :) And in my newer version of UDV I plan on releasing soon, there will be options to add fog to any levels. Dark + Fog + Ambience + UDV Hardcore - that is a fun survival experience.

Will IB (Insanitys Brutality) be compatible to UDV. (sorry for English)

Yeah, probably eventually. Technically it will work with UDV now - you just don't get the radar or ammo warnings... I just have to get around to pulling all the info from IB into a module for UDV... but it's time consuming and I just haven't gotten around to it yet.

I would use it even if it is non-compatible i just don't get the IB options so yeah i was just wondering good to know someday. :)

Oh, if it's just the menu options - give this a shot. Load it after UDV as if it were a D module. Should allow you to get to the IB options. Again, the radar and ammo warnings won't work, but everything else 'should'. :)

I noticed that by using the EMS in IB slows down your movement as in Truly Hardcore Skill level.

Hmm, I'll have to look into that. Sounds like IB must use some speeds others don't. Bah. Nothing can be easy. :p

No, the main issue is my ACS conflicts with your UDV ACS numbered scripts, so if you want to make the HUD compatible with IB, I would go for named ACS scripts, rather than numbers (or if it's not possible to do that when it comes to HUD stuff, then ****...).

No, it is possible. I originally had named scripts for everything, but it broke compatibility with Zandronum 1.x... However, I gave up on trying to be compatible with that, so I might go back through and switch to named scripts. However, I think only one was having issues as far as I could tell, the bleeding/critical script - and I think I've fixed that by just switching the script number it was using to something else. Were there others too that you know of?

Well thank god it is possible. For a second, I thought HUD ACS was restricted to number scripts only, like mapping and ****.

Also when you execute a fatality/execution of any kind, the health detector goes away (which could be the ACS error thingy). Using GZDoom 2.1.1.

For ACS Named Scripts, maybe add a "UDV" at the end, like what I did with some of my IB CVARs (added "IB" or "_IB" at the end in hopes of not encountering another ACS script that can do something bad to the IB script idk lololololol).

I -think- v1.85 should work with IB now minus the radar and ammo counts. Let me know if you still run into anything. :)

The radar? Do you mean the health radar? Or is it the monster radar? I'm not sure lol. I started with my HUD working, then after I did a execution, the health detector stopped working. Also I got your PM, will try to get it to you sometime.

I meant the enemy radar. :) But as for the health bar, that's strange. I seem to remember something similar awhile back but I fixed it... and it only seems to do it with IB right now. I'll try to track it down...

Hey saegiru I have a question for you, will there be new hud in you're upcoming update? And if you can, mind telling me what new features will this update will bring?

It's not a major update, no new graphics (at the moment - unless someone wants to make some...)

It's mainly a feature update. You will be able to add fog effects to levels for more atmosphere, I'm revamping the speed boost/bleeding system to be more compatible with other mods, and I plan on including this sound replacer as an option in the UDV menu without having to load it separately. Also plan on including BD64 module. That's about it at the moment I think.
