if your wish to play with zandorum very strong (not recommended), you can delete UDV files, then enable alternative HUD in options.

So good. Playing at the hardest difficulty is almost like another game. Was kinda tired of brutal doom/PB, having played them so very much, but this made it feel fresh again.
Got suprisingly good preformance on my ancient, shitbucket for a computer too.

All zombiemen now use one of near 40 oneliners when see doomer
Rocket box now gives you 2 cumulative rockets and 2 frag grenades
Decreased chance of shotgun drop
Increased time of shotgun reloading
Decreased max HAR ammo from 160 to 140
Made recoil to plasma rifle near overheat

Fixed old brutal bug, when you couldn't finish e01m08 in Doom or ep07 in Doom 2
Also I fixed sound like "beep beep beep" while sergeants fireing
Little fixes in plasma and desintegrate damage

Made one more (last?) small update 5.6
- Chainsaw use fuel
- Made limited ammo for pistol. Stronger firepower
- Disabled autoreload for all weapons
- Made balance fix for plasma rifle's altfire
- Added few nice sprites
- Doomer starts new game with pistol only

Очень неплохо) Кстати, есть проблемка - когда я получаю урон, фпс проседает до 2-х кадров. Наблюдал такое и в Hell On Earth Starter Pack (там, по-моему, использовалась та же версия Brutal Doom). Можно это как-нибудь исправить?

Да, есть такое дело. У меня тоже проседает, но не до 2х, конечно, до 40 где-то. Я это, полагаю, от думвизора зависит. Хочу его вообще убрать, альт худ здесь тоже корректно считает патроны. Но я пока не могу решить проблему со шрифтом, также нужно интегрировать фонарь. В любом случае, раньше вообще лаги были сильные, исчезновение крови с гильзами некорректно работали. Сейчас на среднем ПК игра выдает стабильные 60 фпс, за исключением крупных стычек и при многократном получении попаданий. Но в меру возможностей я над этим буду работать. А вообще, сам движок игры gzdoom далеко не самый оптимизированный на свете. От него многое зависит, аналогичные проблемы я встречал независимо от аддона брутала

Small fix ver. 5.7.
Smoother animations of shotgun and pistol, small sound changes. Made chaingunner a little stronger. Added more gore fragments for some deaths, including hellknight's and baron's headshots. Also made some things I can't remember for more comfortable gameplay

I made some very small update, including more intence plasma and bfg balls. Also I've found some incorrect shotgun and ssg damage counting, so fixed that too

Update ver. 6.0.

- Totally removed Ultimate Doomvisor
- Enable Alternative HUD strongly reqiuered
- Fixed all icons and ammo count for althud
- Fixed bug with falling fps while taking damage
- Some balance fixes
- Some fire visual effects improved
- New flashlight
- Made SATAN's TOUCH and LAST MAN STANDING difficulties a little tougher
- Preinstalled latest gzdoom v. 3.2.5. x64. If you use x32 system, you can change it yourselph. It should work with older versions and zandorum, but I don't guarantee.

Updated to ver. 6.1.
- Some visual effects improvments (blood and dirt smoke)
Balance changes:
- Max HAR ammo - 180 (from 140)
- changed damage factor mostly for all monsters
- increased ammo drop chance
- Boss death now gives soulsphere and heavy armor
- Doom dificulty - normal damage, monster health and ammo, Satan's Touch - 250% damage, 200% monster health, normal ammo, Last man standing - 400% damage, 300% monster health, 50% more ammo

Thanx a lot to players, who enjoyed this addon, sorry for regular updates, just wanted to share more balanced and nice gameplay without waiting for mounths!

Made good one update to 6.2, here is changelog:
- added enemy healthbar (from jp_hud)
- added stamina (from dynamic)
- many balance fixes (headshots, max ammo, drops, damage factors, etc) for more comfortable gameplay
- added few nice flames and blood, improoved current
- added more death animations for zombies (unused earlier), improoved current (blood splashes, flames, less gore)
Everything works fine, as I see, need to rest a little, so think it's the last one update before 21 bd release. Found bugs? Write here.
Unfortunatly, old saves won't work, new game required

honestly stop with the cheesy sound effects like guitar shredding and x-files samples and also maybe just maybe try your sh*t out with your mod, I tried loading bdros_r_offical changing all settings to be greeted with a massive armour shield from the get go I'm sick of downloading these half heart efforts and you have the audacity to call yourself markmk2 your not even in the thought process of that get a grip kid!

Mabye, just maybe you download wrong page. Maybe you should play vanilla or simple brutal doom with those sounds and armor system. Maybe this is my vision of gameplay and I really enjoy it, but just sharing it here for free. What's wrong with sounds? What's wrong with armor? Too many? Maybe you should try harder difficulty, all armor will vanish for 2 seconds. No offense

don't talk crap you load it up and a massive armour appears on the screen at the hud section maybe just maybe take your time and release versions after testing and explain to people how to load it properly you ain't no sgt mark so change that ridiculous name you wouldn't even get to lick his boots kid!

Pretty nice update ver. 6.4.
Added six rebalanced and reworked monsters, as:
- Spider (Trite) - fast but weak monster, 50% spawn chance instead mechdemon at spectre spawners;
- Hell Knight (Satyr) - new melee Hell Knight at Hell Knight's spawner;
- Gate Keeper (Flesh Wizard) - creepy dangerous monster, firing plamaballs and flame at close range. 50% spawn chance at Hell Knight's spawner;
- LMG trooper (Dune warrior) - 33% spawn chance at rifleman spawner
- ssg trooper - 33% spawn chance at shotgunguy spawner
- Terminator - 33% spawn chance at chaingunguy spawner
Reworked Lord Belphogor, 50% spawn chance at Baron Of Hell spawner
Added some creepy sounds for new monsters and for Archville
Reduced max health to 200, increased max armor and armorsave%
increased enemy projectile speed
Improoved barrel and fatso fireball explosion

Being a kid from the 90 - it bring back the DOOM fun :-)

Quick question.

What texture are you using?
When cross checking the batch files that are starting the game, I noticed some WAD files that are not part of the download ...

You mean some mistakes in console? Yep, i used different textures and system files from different addons, mods or other places, so some of them not exist here. Meanwhile, gzdoom replace them with defoult. Later i'll clean this log and remove that bugs, but it's long and boring process. For now, they are not critical, no missed textures or some other problems during game. It hard enough to write all reasons of this.

I like it but quick question are you supposed to stay in first person when rolling? Also I think it would be better the order of weapons was pistol, heavy assault rifle, shotgun, super shotgun, light machine gun, heavy machine gun, and the rest stayed the same because I can't tell you how many times I died since i switched to the wrong weapon. The rocket launcher would benefit from a scope zoom alt fire since it appears to use a shaped charge instead of being a fire and forget weapon. Thanks for hearing me out.

I still don't know, why sometimes rolling showing 3rd person view. I added rolling when run/walk speed was slower, now I think I'll just remove this movement, strife run is enough, honestly. I don't understand your question about swiching

It goes into 3rd person while you are in the middle of reloading and I was just suggesting how I thought the weapon slot order could be improved and how to make the rocket launcher more useful by adding a scope zoom secondary fire. Just one question and some suggestions that's all it was.

Yes, i understand. As i said, i think, rolling is not so usefull as i returned fast running. Also i still don't know reason why it swithes to 3rd person look.I don't think scope for mrlc needed, it's your call. You always want to beat demons like a boss, but no, you can't do it hear, at least, it's useless, becouse rockets have gravity. No scopes, no overpowered weapons, no mercy!)
