The definitive gameplay enhancement mod for the GZDoom and Zandronum engines. Adds realistic gore, dismemberments, headshots, executions, lightning effects, particles, makes enemies smarter and harder, makes gun louder and beefier, and adds epic new boss battles.
Adds a screen shake, sprint, complicated aim system and weapon special modes.
New weapons options (Check controls for weapon special bind)
Chainsaw -> Throw chainsaw (Use voxels)
Rifle -> 3x Scope
Shotgun -> Dragonbreath shot (Takes 8 loaded shells)
Minigun -> Shotgun shells fire
SSG -> Reactive Shells (Deals less damage, but flies faster and penetrate through)
Plasmarifle -> Power mode (Plasma flare. Charging takes less ammo)
Rocketlauncher -> Grenade launcher mode (Altfire charge up to 6 rockets/grenades)
BFG -> Beam mode (Altfire is rapid fire. Altfire with beam mode is autoshot when target in crosshair)
Load bd20b_dynamic.pk3 after brutalv20b. Also, set brutal janitor on, sector light to dark and use beamflashlight, voxels and brightmaps (included in archive) for best expirience. You can use ZDL or manualy configure order in gzdoom.ini
Let's try something more simple. Extract content and place one of doom iwads(doom.wad, Doom2.wad, etc) inside GZDoom folder. Run gzdoom exe.
Use included Gzdoom 2.3.2 to avoid bugs and incompatibility problems.
Not suitable with bloodbath wads. Seriously.
SSG reloading & Shotgun Pump can be switched.
Berserk pack gives quad damage to melee attacks.
Minigun, Plasmagun & Rocketlauncher firecheckers fixed.
Added Archvile radius damage.
Slightly increased handgrenades spawn.
Fixed distant pain to Rocketlauncher, Minigun & Hellish missile launcher.
Smaller head hitboxes.
Hellish missile launcher flags (now homing missiles useless to big groups, rocket can turn to closer or biger enemy. Use altfire to avoid this.)
Mp40 cancel aiming while running.
Zombieman disapires in water with headshot death fixed.
Blood & explosives on water lag greatly reduced.
Fixed Rocketlauncher's grenades explosion in water.
Blood damage player at close fixed.
Removed swiming Imp.
Melee hight checkers for demons & spectre.
Reworked dual wielding reloading mechanic for Plasmagun & Rifle. Now it works correctly with it's ammo counters.
If you feel discomfort while holding sprint button all the time, you can do next thing.
Create autoexec.cfg file inside Gzdoom folder and put there this strings:
alias sprinteron "+speed; rebind sprinteroff"
alias sprinteroff "-speed; rebind sprinteron"
bind x sprinteron
Now, sprint is toggleable. You can use any button instead x.
