Following the GZDoom port of Doom 64, BD-64 revitalizes the old Doom 64 with new special effects, particles, lightning, gore, new sounds, more weapon animations (shotgun reloads, smoother minigun barrels, etc.) and monsters and stuff cut from the original Nintendo 64 version. Works on GZDoom and Zandronum in OpenGL mode. (Zdoom and Zandronum Software mode are not supported.) No downloads available yet. Mod still is very early WIP.

How to use this addon? :)
There are different methods depending on what your using... well LIST TIME, all methods will need the pk3 out of the zip
1. If using bd64 download and play version, just take the pk3 out of the zip file and insert it into the skin file
2. If using gzdoom you will want to edit your ini file to autoload this with your mods, or drag it onto the exe everytime
3. If you want this to work with the bd64 map/ every map ever you will have to use a program like slade and open this pk3 and bd64game, copy the pallet from here and paste in into it. You can also do this for specific wad or maps or if your good enough even iwads

Can't get it to work. I've tried dragging and dropping on the bd64.exe and using slade to paste it into game pk3. Using version 1b.
i like the blood effect from the brutal doom 64 v1 it was crisp clear and vibrant it had that nice poppy look to it now he has updated the game its not there no more do you know how to get that look back and put it back into the new update?other wise i am going to stay with the old version for now even though its all full of bugs in it
