If you continue to watch after the puzzle you got stuck with, it would spoil the new levels.
This is only for major confusing puzzles. Everything else can be found through searching around and looking everywhere.
I can't get the explosive tar to work at the door ? I searched everywhere but can't find anything that gets it to work ..
****, I haven't noticed this until now.
Maybe it's far too late to answer, but there was a lighter in the foyer on the fountain (where the lion was).
I surrounded it by a little point light so that peeps would notice it. But somehow it didn't work out for you that well :/
