BrewLAN point seven and two halves. Because two halves don't make a whole. Delete any previous versions before installing.
As some of you may well be aware, version 0.8 is delayed on account of I broke my leg. In its place, I present version 0.7 and two halves. It doesn't have all the content I wanted to add in 0.8, but it exists, unlike the missing content. Don't expect 0.8 this year. February 2017 maybe? But don't quote me on that.
Installation
If applicable, remove all old versions of BrewLAN and its sub-mods before continuing. If you don't this can cause desync due to file renames and deletions causing some old files to remain.
Inside the zip file you will find 3 folders, /gamedata/, /maps/, and /mods/. These will need merging with your pre-existing /gamedata/ and /maps/ folders and your possibly pre-existing /mods/ folder. These folders will exist wherever Forged Alliance is installed. Options for where it could be installed include:
...\Steam\SteamApps\common\supreme commander forged alliance\
...\Program Files\THQ\Gas Powered Games\Supreme Commander - Forged Alliance\
Once you have located the correct folder simply drag those three folders in there, and allow those folders to merge. If you didn't have a mods folder before, congratulations, now you do.
FAF compatibility
BrewLAN 0.7.5.5 is at least mostly with FAF; the custom strategic icons don't work, this includes the ones from the Experimental Icons Overhaul, and possibly some other icons and custom buttons might be missing. But unless they have released a ninja update that I have not checked compatibility with, the all important things should work.

Hey there, I've got the mod in the RAR version, and I dragged mods & maps, but for gamedata, where do I put this one ? I only have Maps Mods Replays Savegames and Screenshots....
EDIT : Nevermind, I still have not placced the gamedata, but i've got the mods already, I tried it and.... Oh god, you did it, you created the Noah Cannon from the very first version of the game ! And I can just love you for that, yes I'm nostalgic, hell yeah, a good job, as always.
Glad you're enjoying the mod. Gamedata folder goes in the games directory rather than the my documents folder. It's only necessary for the strategic icons, unit icons (without the icon support mod), and a few buttons and things. The mod will technically function without it.

Anyway, I've got something to say about the Noah cannon, do you know the original story about it ? It has been created for the 21st Anniversary of a famous scientist in the supreme commander 2 XBOX version, so he could handle "21 units", could you edit the Noah cannon to make it hold a max cap of 21 units ? It would be cool, as well if you could remove the half unit sacrifice when drop, as well as adding a little impact point at each drop when the metal ball touch the ground ? If you do, it would be awesome, again and again, keep up the good work, you are doing good !
The health loss on land was actually partially because the Ivan gets a discount on its unit costs. Not as great as the Noah, admittedly, but still a thing. Doing a pod open animation was on the plans, although I wont be able to actually do it until I get back to England in January, due to a lack of access to 3DSmax. I could in the meantime create a seperate sub-mod to make those changes for you (minus the animation thing); possibly tomorrow.
I enderstand, I'm not in a hurry, if you aren't in England yet, then I won't disturb you.
But if you want to, I could have an idea for you, even if the most of the modders do not want to do it, would you be interested by creating the old experimental units of supreme commander 2 XBOX version ? As well as some basic units of it if you like some of them ? I know the most of developper won't do it because they just want to create a new thing on their own, that no one never saw, and not to remake the units that which have already been made, but if you agree my idea, change this, and maybe recreate at least some old experimental ? As well as creating some for the Seraphim, because that faction wasn't here at the very beginning, and that developper actually rarely create Seraphim units, because of their complex ethics and graphics style.

If push comes to shove, I imagine I'd be able to change it back myself for my and my friends usage, but figured I'd ask here as a way of providing feedback :)
Both models were only temporary models. I'm hoping to give it its proper model for the next release. One thing to be wary of if you try to do it yourself is the bone names; the newer model has a bunch of extra nodes so the drones work, which the old one doesn't have. The script will error if it can't find them.

There is a campaign mod enabler for doing such a thing. But you'll need to get that elsewhere.
