Full VersionThis mod changes all the Bot names.
This mod changes all the Bot names. This works for BF2 Special Forces as well. For Special forces put in:
\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\xpack\AI.

Note: Every name must have a rank like Pvt. or Sgt.

1. you should check this page and you get enought player names as you want..."http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_most_common_surnames";
2. there are no new enhancements in your addon - take a look to serval other "real" mods and you can see whats "can" going on at this point with(botnames.ai);
3. all bf2 mods use the same file "botnames.ai" here, so you can use one of them in all other bf2 mods (not only in vanilla or xpack);
4. for best results you should use 255 differend bot names in this, to prevent the "botname_###" problem that comes up if you have an smaller count of it.(btw. i use one with over 1600 differend real names on all my 15 running servers without any problems with that);
5. dont use any extended chars(special any lanuage bases specials)in the botnames file or it will works a short time and after that the server/system crashs;
so i ask you - what is the real new thing in or with your addon here ?

The real new thing is that this is a unique mod. You already know how....
Well some people would like a names mod. There's no thing like 'pointless' in this. It is a mod and not an addon by the way (fine line below).
ripamoramee1 actually has a point there, mods are replacing old files and addon's give you more to use. For example Flight Simulator only has addon's (for most aircraft, airports, etc) and Grand Theft Auto is only replacing unless you really know what you are doing. Also, ripamoramee1 which bot names are used in game? You have actually caught my attention.

Well there are a lot (It would take ages to list all). Mostly from other games.
By the way, the fine line between add-on and mod makes this a mod- mod modifies files whereas addon adds content without modifying/removing old files.
