Due to a Source Engine update a few years back, there was an issue with certain water textures. This patch will fix that and let anyone create 60fps no commentary walkthroughs!
Once upon a time in an office far, far away, a company called Valve released an update for their game that broke custom water textures in many mods. Thousands of years later, a developer tired of post-release support for one such mod being so one-sided went through the arduous task of copy/pasting files into a zip so the mod could once again be restored to its previous state.
1. Download and install Blue Portals first: Moddb.com
2. Install this by dragging the materials folder into the mod folder.

Hi, why when I launch the mod I do not have ANYTHING? Background cards. How to fix it?
Please make sure the mod is properly installed in your Sourcemods folder on the same hard drive as your copy of Portal 1.
Who needs cyberpunk when we have Blue Portals redux
Blue Portals AE (Anniversary Ediion) is now Blue Portals Redux, and it gets made from scratch.
This is a vicious development cycle, in my opinion. Similar to Box&Rcoks; and Ethosaur's PUNT.
How so? This is the firt big disclosed change on the game and the thing actually got reelased, unlike PUNT. Your comment literally makes no sense.
I mean, the development is long.
I never had this issue but it's still nice to see that support is still going for the mod! Also, Bolloxed wasn't doing any good.
Water Fix Patch doesn't appear to work - same issue as before.

Patch doesn't work.I extracted the materials folder INTO the Blue Portals Mod folder, and when I'm submerged in special water, I am blind.
Of course I understand that the question is stupid, but how to fix the water. how to put the patch itself into the game.
Maybe it's just me, but when I go under the water in chamber 4 I still see missing textures. Dragging out files "materials/nature/hazard_liquid.vmt" and "materials/nature/hazard_liquid_beneath.vmt" (which are not present in the patch) using GCFScape from "bp_pak_dir.vpk" seemed to help, though.
so... sometimes cubemaps break.
