Blue Moon Rising is a co-operative multiplayer survival horror played in the first person. Teams of four or five player-controlled troopers try to reclaim earth from the AI-controlled zombies that have taken over.
The game is set in the near future where mankind fights for survival against the zombie hordes that make up ninety-nine percent of the ‘population’ of the world. Humanity has been on the defensive for fifty years - the players join the struggle as the tide is turned against the living dead…

It's been a while. It is sad that Blue Moon Rising mod for ut 2004 is dead. But well everything has to finally come to its end.
However, I'm still alive and I'm still working on computer games, so make sure to check a brand new game that I'm working on as a lead designer and concept artist (monster concepts).

Well, I am bit late, but I am downloading BMR, I discovered UT2004 last year for my nephew but ended playing everyday myself !!
This Mod expands more and more the game, is amazing !!.
It's very fun to combine BMR and UT2K4 together so BMR is playable directly and then have the Ballistic Weapons mod playing, makes the game much more intense.
Everything appears to be installed correctly, but whenever I start a "Blue Moon Rising" or "Eradication" gametype match, there are no zombies. Anywhere.

It is great with ballistic weapons. Just use arena mutator or type 'reloaded' in the console, works perfectly. I recommend also using sgt. kellys weapon pack:

Good mod but there seems to be problem with the graphics sometimes the words on the menu dissaear and also its seems glitchy alo would be great if more people actually played
why arent there any servers up?
I wish there were more people doing this mod on UT2004
