Blood, released by Monolith in 1998 was one of the most popular games of all time, retaining a cult following even today. Many consider it the finest first person shooter, following the protagonist Calebs attempts to seek retribution against the God Tchernebog. It was created in the Build engine, developed by Ken Silverman. The Build engine was a DOS based 3D engine, which was capable of some very amazing effects and graphics back in its day. With Blood Source, we arere-vamping Blood and transferring it into Valves Source engine. The game and its atmosphere will be preserved, along with its pop reference and cult humor. The source engine will enable us to recreate this wonderful game in stunning high-resolution graphics, fluid physics, and high-quality audio. Most of all.....we will be making it more...Bloody...

I hate it when people say this.

Reason to complain? Not really. Reason to play a crappy looking mod? No.

There are plenty of high-quality (and free) mods out there, so why spend time playing the crappy ones. A mod needs more than just a free price tag to make me want to play it. We want quality.

I do think, the robes should be a lil darker brown and have that lil "ribbon" around their wrist (each had their own color), I like how the face looks maybe a lil darker but still, it looks as creepy as the render image for the Cultist on Blood itself! =3

Aaaaah, that's great. I thoroughly disagree with what pfannkuchen said. This is better and better.

The cheekbones a bit more prominent and a brown skin and it will really be the monks from Blood 1 in my opinion.

Also, the color of the frock in the first picture you made was perfect, I think you should implement it for this one too. And, perhaps make the hood a little more loose. Damn, I ask perhaps too much. At least you listen to feedback and that's really important, thanks for that.

the only thing he have to do to add some detail is some sub-surfacing and thats it, it takes less than 2 seconds to do...

source engine has like a 10000 poly limit ..so when you making **** for it you gotto remember to keep the poly count low

first of all Source Engine can handle 40000+ polys per model and one subsurface step doesn't add millions of polys, just the double of the original poly count

This model needs work, but don't give up! The texture work looks great, bhowever I think that you should put a little more emphasis on geometry.
