One of the main things that I had really wanted to do with Blitzkrieg 2 was to add in civilian cars and trains to really help give the feel that you're in the 1940's. We just never got around to doing it for Blitz2 so in order to prevent that I put a priority on the civilian cars for Blitzkrieg 3: Fortress Europe. We have several cars and most of them having at least 1 varient, which will give mappers a good deal of cars to place on maps. At this moment, I don't know if the cars will actually do anything...although it would be cool to be able to hijack them (we'll have to look into that once B4ME is released).
The first civilian car that we finished up is the Typ 10 "Stromform", and it turned out quite nicely. Tebrey modeled the vehicle and I uvmapped/textured it. We have 3 versions of it; the duel colored one, black one and the Axis military version. To check out the renders click here to head to the Blitzkrieg 3 website or any of the images below.
I love the title of the news post. Nice cars too.
