IMPORTANT!
You'll need latest QuakeSpasm Spiked or FTEQW for best compatibility! May work on some other source ports too but with limitations!
The demo includes 2 maps for now. Has basic gameplay mechanics.
HOW TO PLAY
If you open your game, enter: game BOI
This will change the mod to Blasting Over it.
To start a map, enter map [mapname] into the console.
map boi1m1 or map boi1m2. Basic id maps of Quake work too but those are not really made for this mod! Most maps will be still playable, but since water physics are not included, maps filled with lots of water might be an issue! Or you can find some alternative way to complete them?
If your installation is fine and you use the proper source ports, you should have a clock on the top, a crosshair with charge bar, and the number below it measures the distance between solid objects and your big bu... blaster. I call is Blast Kicker. If you don't have a solid object behind you, the rocket you shoot will simply explode and won't move you an inch.
The Bloody Hammer (still uses the axe model for FPS view) is a powerful weapon and a very useful tool to move a bit, or correct your jumps by hitting the walls. Just like normal Quake, you'll need to reach the exit. The clock should tell the exact completion time, milliseconds included.
You still have all the other weapons, if you decide to play episode maps. Not a gold experience to do it, but can be fun.
