About the 20th Anniversary version. New version of Blade of Light mod to Honor the 20 years since the release of Blade of Darkness. First versions of Blade of Light were developed five years ago on a laptop with a midrange GPU playing at 1280x720.The visual results of the mod were based on that resolution. Playing in 2021 with a powerful GPU at 1920x1440 the image processing wasn't scaling properly. I decided to create a new version better suited for modern machines. v 2.0 20th Aniversary - Better tonemapping. No Bright Lights Clipping. Sky and Fog don't Clip on brightest levels. - Dynamic lighting adjustments. Exposure adaptation fine tuned to react with amount of lighting in the scene. - Bloom levels dynamically adjusted for dark/light areas. - Cleaner image. removed noise and other image processing shaders. Image quality over texture sharpening. - Newer DOF shader (Marty McFly). better clarity. Player always in focus.
Oh good work people.
Found memories.
This is screaming out for a 4K makeover.
I bet you'd love to try the Steam release then
Thanks for showing your appreciation.

Hi, can this mod works with rOpenGL?
In description you use NGLIDE to start the game and r3dfx voodoo 1-2 as the renderer.
Thank you.
The light on the weapon will work. But Not the graphic upgrades.
Thanks man .
It's now on GoG/Steam so will it work for those versions?
It Is not recommended to use it. The light on the weapon will work. But Not the graphic upgrades.
This was designed for a dx7 game. The new version is dx11.
I’ll try to do a package for the new 2021 re-release
It should work on the “classic” version included with the new release.
