Run. Think. Shoot. Live. Source. Black Mesa is the Half-Life 2 total conversion of the original Half-Life game. Utilizing the Source engine and its endless array of possibilities and powers, Black Mesa will throw you into the world that started the Half-Life continuum and introduced Gordon Freeman to the world as a gun-toting, bullet-dodging Ph.D. in Theoretical Physics.

Black Mesa came to the 21st century.

Half-lfie 1 had such old computers in its game....I dont complain..it was made over 10 years ago :) Maybe someday it will be a historical document of how laboratories looked like in the past :D

I think the old computers and retro paint work for the story. It's reasonable to think that Black Mesa was working on whatever caused the Resonance Cascade for decades, plus the characters mention using out of date equipment during the prologue.

WOW! That's all I can say. I have noticed in Half Life, all of the rooms had kind of a 'bluish' feel all the time. It just kind'a felt weird. Anyways I love the detail in the consols etc.

This is badass....
I can't help but say "GOOD JOB!"
This looks more like a 2011 lab than a 1998 lab..
Which is a good thing..
I was getting SICK of those 80's computers...
:P

Someone brought a cup of coffee into there with all those control panels? I think we found the real cause of the resonance cascade!
