Initially developed and released by Gearbox Software in 2001, second Half-Life add-on, Half-Life: Blue Shift is a return to the Black Mesa Research Facility and another look at the Incident's consequences from the eyes of Gordon Freeman's best friend - Barney Calhoun.
In 2012, Crowbar Collective has delighted Half-Life fans with release of the magnificent Half-Life remake, but there are still no released remakes for add-ons. This is when we are coming in - HECU Collective are developing the Black Mesa: Blue Shift - a free remake with use of Black Mesa resources and style. We will try to stay as close to the original Blue Shift and Black Mesa as possible. Our mod will be releasing partially, chapter by chapter, so those who are not patient for the full release will finally have something to play!

I have started chapter 1 and am in the room after the dark corridor where you need to flick the electricity supply on. I seem to have lost some bindings. The use key doesn't function and I cannot see it in the bindings list. I can move, sprint, jump and crouch and that is all. Is there any bug running this Mod through steam?
Reset the bindings to default
Thank you for your suggestion, worked a treat. I've played through to the end of chapter 3 now. Absolutely fantastic job, the lighting is very realistic, especially when in your face, the dazzling effect is very good. I have really enjoyed this mod. Looking forward to chapter 4 and the rest.

I hope that all be okay, because I had thinking that we will get it in 31th or we will not get it even in next month.
Well, Faber, how hard developing this chapter was in last 3 weeks ?
Beautiful work boys and girls. Thank you and I wish you all the best.

Amazing mod! I just wanted to thank the devs for all the hard work they're putting in it, I'm still thinking about it weeks after playing it
