Hey! It's a great music mod and I loved the new intro songs for both campaign and start up. But I have a prob

Voices from L4D survivors don't work anymore, they just don't talk at all or move their mouths, not even the sub appear. I correctly installed the VPK version and tried deactivating the "Voice_sfx.vpk" (Or something of the sort) to see if that would fix it but no go.

Rebuilding the audio cache didn't work either. Any idea what it could be? I have no other Sound-mods active btw.

That's a weird thing to have happen. Try this: Navigate to the following directory :\xxxxxxxxx\Left 4 Dead 2\left4dead2_dlc2
and delete the file "pak02_dir.vpk".
This file installs all the L4D1 sound replacements including the original L4D survivors' voices. After deleting it, check to see if you still have the same problem. If so, it's not the soundpack. If not, that pak02_dir.vpk file may have gotten corrupted & I'd recommend re-downloading it. Thanks, I hope this helps!

Just got word from a friend that running the console command "snd_updateaudiocache" (without the quotes) might do the trick, so try that first.

The sounds are amazing, and the soundtracks fit some of the maps perfectly.

Thank you :)

Yes, in this download the mod is broken up into a total of 12 VPK's,
10 of which you can enable/disable in-game under:
EXTRAS -> Add-ons

The other 2 are for the modified DLC content.

This is masterfully put together. I dunno if you're still hanging around, but in case you are, I still have some troubles with pops, clicks, unexpectedly loud and static-sounding noises that I think are coming from CI. Does this have to do with certain campaigns?

Is Bilian or anyone else ever going to come back and fix this mod? None of the custom music or sounds ever play on the L4D1 campaigns anymore, and they could certainly use an overhaul now that all of them were ported to L4D2.
