So the feedback from 0.7 is back and we're making an number of changes.
The next release is 0.72 and shall be out within the month and it'll feature the following changes:
- Custom U.I, both on the main menu and taskbars and icons.
- New maps, environment objects and new gamemodes.
- Fully 3d and textured ships for both the Imperial Navy and Chaos, with teamcolours (although this may be in a future release)
To follow are a comprehensive list of code changes, from damage values, weapon facings to shields and abilities. After this, the changes will be minor and with exception of the custom soundtrack, will lead to 1.0, the first release.
After 1.0, the first release with Chaos and the Imperial Navy, the focus shall be on releasing the other remaining races to the game, these will be: Adeptus Mechanicus, Eldar and Orks in the next update, which is a long time coming - hopefully over summer. These follow the original Battlefleet Gothic releases and expansions for the tabletop game the mod is based on.
