battlefront expanded edition mod brings tons of new content to the game, such as new cross eras and hunt modes and lots of new custom maps build into the stock game as if the game shipped with them. new battlefront 2 map conversions that will be in the 1.0 version of the mod will be alzoc 3 blizzard kothlis sea haven. main new eras are as follows : empire vs droids empire vs republic rebels vs droids rebels vs republic rumble conquest clone wars xl galactic civil war xl hunt clone vs clones rebels vs rebels droids vs droids empire vs empire not all eras will be present on all maps but stock maps have all but the cross faction eras. added clone wars to hoth and endor and galactic civil war to geonosis. this mod also includes the campaign mod as separate campaigns so you will no longer have to overwrite them trough addon. planned features for 2.0 version of the mod : custom galactic conquest scenarios more battlefront 2 conversions more new custom maps made by me and much more !

Hey, I downloaded this a few second ago. Every time I try to copy the Data to my old Data folder it says there is a error in the file.
Maybe try another download and start from scratch after a computer restart?

what version of the game do you have ? this version is only for steam or gog on the latest update. an error with the archive itself like you cant extract it ?
Yeah, like when I drop the file into the folder, the thing tells me there's an error in the file. It worked for the last one I don't why it's doing it for this one.
strange the file extracts for me. maybe try copying the actual rar folder to a folder somewhere on your desktop and right click it and extract here. otherwise try this google drive link with the mod it might work. Drive.google.com
Essentially I use winrar to drop files and the winrar thing itself is telling me that there's an error
very weird i use winrar to both package it and extract it maybe try 7 zip. or maybe the mod didnt download correctly or fully. or it could be winrar itself.
I don't have a discord sadly, yeah i tried using winrar to extract it and it just constantly tells me there's error in the file.
oh wait i know the problem now i forgot i used 7 zip for this one you need 7 zip.

sadly no but i am going to reupload a rar version of the mod right on this page and overwrite this one rather than making another one so it might work in the meanwhile you can try 7 zip if that doesent work the only thing i can think of is how much space you have on your hardrive that you are extracting to the mod is about 15 gb when unpacked.

Okay, my thoughts on the mod...
Honestly my only complaint about the mods is the unit models. I think everyone can agree that we play mods to use models that aren't the normal stock units, so it kind of bores me that every map within pack has the traditional stock units. I really don't like jumptrooper being of scarif when it the orignally map that was made had deathtroopers. So I would fix the troopers units, especailly concerning the clone troopers to have them match to the planets in regrads to theme and/or color. Have extra units that match to them/color. Let the deathtrooper have some room at the table.It makes it worst when the maps that you put bland stock units on originally had some pretty cool sides. Like raxus prime junkyard.
noted will change this for the seasons approach. but also the reason raxus prime doesent have custom sides is so that it is multiplayer compatible since serejas sides are not multiplayer compatible.

also have you got a lot of mod maps in your addon folder that can do it since the mod uses a lot of slots.
speak for yourself I really like stock units and models maybe some updated textures be nice but that's it. changing too much would be like adding to another artists master piece and most of the time it ends up worse. those mods turn into a giant mess of inconsistent models, unfinished maps and bugs introduced by them. And I like having multiplayer. Textures can make the models that exist look much nicer imo.
I don't think I'm speaking for myself, I think I speak for everyone on this. Why do we get so many mods that change the base game units if everyone wants them? Again, I think you don't understand that a lot of these maps like the raxus prime had amazing custom units that were replaced with stock units in this mod which really sucks. I think focus should be making a good map first but if you can change the base game units then you should.
Also Um the game is telling me to insert a dual shock 2 controller? I tried with a dual shock 4 through steam and its not working at all I cant get passed this.

downgraded version needs this version of the game Moddb.com if you have any other issues after installing this one let me know and i will help you. also delete the dlc folder in addon after installing the version i linked above or the game will crash, the dlc is a fix for maps eras not working on the updated version of the game which this version doesent need and will overwhelm this versions addon ssytem.

Was able to download the mod but now it won't let me play any map or mode at all. It just stays on the main menu and won't accept anything.
have you got the latest version of the game on steam or gog ? this version only works with that the 2.2 version is for the cd dvd versions of the game or for a downgraded game on steam.
Very fun mod, enjoying it a lot so far. Only minor issue I have is that the villains on heroes vs villains mode seem weaker than heroes. For example Luke and Kenobi can use the force and will keep spamming force push on you where as Vader and Ventress can't do anything like that. Is this something you can fix? Maybe make it so the ai can't spam force push on you, only the player can and give Vader and Ventress force powers too.
Still a fun mod :)

yes will be fixed for the bf1 seasons mod and the final 3.0 cd dvd expanded edition mod.
Does this include steam as well?
3.0 wont because of addon limits but people can choose maps for the seasons mod which will be for steam as well as cd dvd.
