Better game pacing is reached by reducing XP rewards for combat, lockpicking and hacking, thus focusing the big XP gains on doing quests. I felt that fallout3, especially on the high difficulty settings, punishes you for exploring by upping your level way too fast. consequently you could only see about 1/10th of the game before hitting the level cap and having only top-of-the-line enemies and gameplay that stops developping. Now this takes a lot longer, and you get to explore more and be introduced to better items and enemies at a better pace that matches the size of the game.

Better game pacing is reached by reducing XP rewards for combat, lockpicking and hacking, thus focusing the big XP gains on doing quests. In addition to reducing XP from random exploration, I've raised the ratio at which radiation accumulates by P0 and raised the players movement speed by roughly 10% (which feels exactly right, fps style. try it) In later versions (coming soon) I will be upping the importance of food and radiation greatly, as well as the scarcity of ammo, changing values relating to stimpacks and adjusting item weights. More on this later.

Sounds really cool, man, good job! I'm not sure about the 10% movement speed though, or the ammo reduction... but the rest is sweet. A must-try.
