This is the top mod you should play if you love vanilla doom it improves pretty much everything in doom 1 2 and final doom as well as vanilla style mods. The gore is improved the sprites are smoother and run at 60 fps vs 30fps the sounds are improved and the graphics are also improved. This mod is better then Brutal doom because it doesn't change the core game play of doom much it just improves upon it rather then changing the whole game and messing up the balance of the game.
Very well done. Many improvements while respecting the original Doom gameplay mechanics (unlike other mods, i.e. Brutal Doom).
