Beautiful Doom is the grandfather of total enhancement mods. First released back in 2008 this mod aims to improve each and every single object in Doom, making them smoother, more impressive visually and having better sounds while retaining the original Doom gameplay. However, for those, who like to spice things up there are 3 weapon sets to choose from and a number of features to tweak!
Excellent mod! It retains everything I love about the originals with awesome new features. And it works on more than just DOOM II!
This is best mod if you want play in Classic Doom. Very good job with new beautiful graphics and save original gameplay.

Beautiful Doom is the perfect mod for someone who's looking to "spice up" the game without massively affecting how it plays. (Although you can still do that if you want!) You'll get the more punchy combat and visuals of something like Brutal Doom, but it'll still be balanced like Doom, more or less.

One of the best gameplay mod ever made. So much respect to the vanilla version, but adding a very cool extra features like new death animations, enhanced weapons (vailla or modern styles) new SFX... I particurally enjoy the good blood colors on cacodemons or hell knight. Thank you for your work ! Highly recommended
