The art direction in this mod is truly stunning, from the dystopian waterfilled towns, to the looming world dropoffs in the distance.
The cubist valleys gives the gameplay a mono-linear feel, always sending the player in the right direction.
The epic firefights between the combine take place in all manner of stunning places. with a marvelous cover system comprising of cubular and rectangular sheilds.
Game of the year. It beats games and it is just a mod.

This mod is really good!
This game will send chills down your spine and give you massive *******. The story alone will make you want to never go back to real life and you WILL get on your knees and cry from how amazing this game is. If there is one thing you will want when you die it will be this game. You will want to throw away the new Duke Nukem and STALKER and Half Life and Mass Effect when you see this.
Story/Campaign:
The story is simply amazing and will leave you confused yet in understanding. You will enter this world confused and scared at your surroundings but will slowly fight and rise. The story branches in tons of ways with tons of nail biting choices and you will have well over fifty endings. The story which revolves around you and you only will turn into a masterpiece which scopes so many places and is so amazing that it fires like the love child of a Mass Effect / Half Life / Morrowind / Fallout / Dragon Age gang bang. The characters are interested and in the end you will cry and scream when they end up dying. The story is simply perfect in ever place.
Graphics:
The graphics are so polished that you will look outside and decide these are better. They even work on low end computers and rival other engines like the Frostbite 2 or that unnamed one Skyrim is using. You will feel like you can reach out and touch the world in the game and you will scream from how real it is.
Sound/Music:
The music is simply epic and well rivals anything heard in games from Halo to Mass Effect. The music will send chills down your spine and make your ears explode.
Gameplay:
From the Assassins Creed-esque stealth and free roam to the balance and fun of the multiplayer which is much like Halo 2 you will feel like this game raped you in the *** it is so difficult, however you will end up winning with its amazingly well done learning curve. It is easy to learn but very hard to master.
Extra Notes:
The game also has a map editor and three hundred person multiplayer and coop.
