A Battlestar Galactica mod by MilesRS, JCC and MaxVatutin. The X3ap Battlestar Galactica mod is a semi-total conversion mod. Although most elements within the xuniverse stay the same, this mod adds in a Battlestar Galactica start, along with all the ships, stations and weapons you would find in the BSG universe. A variety of other unique elements await your discovery including variable missions and secrets hidden across the galaxy. Please Note: This mod requires Albion Prelude add-on and a Game Restart!
New gamestart! You can play as Cpt. Kara "Starbuck" Thrace. This gamestart enables new BSG plot and missions as well as a few extra ingame features unavailable within other gamestarts. Replaces vanilla "suicidal" gamestart and requires steam connection to work. With this gamestart you cannot save/load your game with only one permanent save stored in the Steamcloud.
Why is steam mandatory? That's just dumb...
Just because this gamestart replaces the original one. Difficulty level "Dead is Dead" is supposed to work only with steam connection and only one savegame file on steamcloud to prevent players from using save/load features or modifying the game somehow =P
