The BattleGroup42 team aim to promote team-play in a historically accurate and fun environment set across the battlefields of World War 2. Scout forward positions and call in covering fire as a troop of friendly tanks roll forward backed by APC support, fly air cover protecting your bombers from marauding interceptors, assault an enemy beachhead taking the forward positions before moving inland to victory!

There are tons of new weapons, vehicles and maps.
Historical accuracy also is good. For example you wont find King Tiger tank in North Africa. This mod has all ww2 theatres like Eastern Front, Western Front (early and late), Pacific front and Mediterranean front.

I really do love this mod. I just wish I could push the engine past its limits and increase the number of bots in one session. Great mod everyone, keep up the great work. I wish that the present\future games by Dice were more open to mod support.
The best and most versatile WW2 mod for BF 1942. Since BF 1942 came out a lot of similar games have been designed. However there is still no WW2 game which incorporates/combines this many aspects (infantry, tanks, artillery, ground/aerial/naval warfare, paratroops, reconnaissance, cruise missiles,...) into one game.
Good coverage of multiple WW2 theatres and playable factions, loads of playable vehicles/weapons/maps.
The best mod about the Second World war at the moment. At least it's nice to play without breaking my *** from the dullness of bots. I want to express my gratitude to the developers for creating fractions earlier and still not popular in World war history. Thanks to you, I became acquainted with the history of the Second World War in many corners of the globe. I hope for the further development of fashion and for larger battles in the future! Salute!
This feels like the official ultimate add-on to the game or in many parts how the game should have been in the beginning.
