The BattleGroup42 team aim to promote team-play in a historically accurate and fun environment set across the battlefields of World War 2. With each successive release BG42 is developing its own style of unique gameplay. Scout forward positions and call in covering fire as a troop of friendly tanks roll forward backed by APC support, fly air cover protecting your bombers from marauding interceptors, assault an enemy beachhead taking the forward positions before moving inland to victory!

This patch didn't fix the long loading times, mod is still unplayable for me.

On the mod maps, the progress bar stops short of the "B" in Battlegroup42.

However on the Vanilla maps, the progress bar stops at the "BATT" mark.

I played earlier versions of this mod, (RC1 and RC2) without any problems.

And i tested regular unmodded battlefield 1942, and the game loads just fine.

Then there's DEFINITELY something wrong on your end though!

I, on the other hand able to run BattleGroup42 on one of my PC rigs (the oldest had Intel T3200 mobile socketed CPU) with just less than 3 minutes on each loading time without issues.

Could you make every map playable in co-op mode please ?

Some maps cannot be playable in co-op due to different factors, one of them are the AI cannot distinguished several obstacles like roadblocks, barriers or even trenches. And as you've noticed even in vanilla BF1942, the AI/bots wouldn't be able to jump such objects that i've mentioned above. That's the limitation of Battlefield 1942's Refractor engine when it comes to AI.

Same applies to pure naval maps (just like "Monster des Stahles" map of FHSW mod for example) as impossible to create pathmaps for AI/bots in order for them to maneuver the ship.

Finally, only a small number of development team for the mod are only active right now and only focused on bug fixing.
