This modification aims to add a new experience to Battlefield 2. By balancing arcade and realism, we hope to create a new semi-arcadish and semi-realistic gameplay. Note 1: Requires BF2: SF and BF2 1.5 Note 2: Don't download with Desura! Note 3: Geometries and Textures MUST be set to High!

Note 1: Requires BF2 1.5 and BF2: SF 1.5 (aka, xpack) Note 2: Don't download with Desura! Note 3: Geometries and Textures MUST be set to High! Note 4: Some might get some problems with the shadows, for those people, lower the Dynamic Shadows settings to Medium or lower. Note 5: ALWAYS RUN IN WINDOW MODE. If you don't like playing in window mode then try using something like fake fullscreen. Note 6: The mod isn't optimized for low-end PCs, note that low-end PCs tend to have lots of more problems with this mod than medium-end to high-end PCs. Also see note 3-5. Note 7: Some animations doesn't blend too well at the moment. Note 8: This might be one of the last versions. Further explanation will be posted later.

The mod's memory usage occasionally goes over 2 GB, so yeah, it's too little. A 4 GB RAM or 8 GB RAM PC is recommended, 8 GB RAM is especially recommended for those who have lots of background processes and for those who multi-task a lot.

Great mod. I'm enjoying all the new teams, weapons, and maps :) However, what happened to nametags? The two teams' soldiers' uniforms are similar colors on the maps I played on, so I keep accidentally shooting my team, which gets kind of annoying. Do you think you could enable nametags for your team members?
1. Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\CSTO_USA_War and open GameLogicInit.con
2. Change renderer.drawnametags from 0 to 1
